I do not own pic!
As you left the cave where the tree is and crossed the forest out and through the bridge, your way out of the dark forest was safe and nothing got in your way, the woman in the fountain didn't seem to he there as the place was quite, you walked until the end of it, then took a deep breath once you have reached out.
The sun was so warm, you loved the sound of birds chirping as you walked ahead while Tatsu kept asking Itachi curious questions about his surroundings. It was evening, and luckily you have reached a village on your way home, the last one before you reach your home village tomorrow.
It was a beautiful evening, you walked beside Itachi through the streets watching the orange sun in the horizon as people were heading back to their homes or just hunging out together after a long day of work. Tatsu was tired from running around all day as usual, as he had been carried by Itachi, leaning his pink cheek on his dad's shoulder and watching people passing by.You had a nice dinner at a simple restaurant then headed back to your booked room in the inn you've been spending the night at. You walked to your room with Itachi, holding a sleepy Tatsu in your arms as he refused to let go every time you tried to put him in his bed, you sighed and ended up giving up, laying the little child between you two then turning off the lights and having a nice sleep, getting ready for tomorrow.
It was evening of the next day, you stood up smiling as you spotted your village a distance away, finally, you will be back to your home!
You looked at Itachi to see him already looking at you with a smile on his face, did he miss being here as well? Of course, it is so obvious in his eyes, he can't wait to be at home as well with you and his son.
Tatsu walked ahead of you as he wasn't all tired yet, while you and Itachi held hands and advanced together. You recalled those times after your secret dates when he used to escort you to the entrance to your village, then follow you later and sneaks in your room through the window careful not to be watched, those were tough times, and here you are now, heading back together, to your home, hand in hand as one family...You have already told Itachi and Tatsu not to tell lady Noriko about what happened in the leaf now so she doesn't worry, and that you will tell her later by yourself. Being too tired for cooking or doing any kind of housework, you grabbed some food on your way and headed straight home with your family.
As Itachi pushed the little gate of your house letting you and Tatsu first in, you took a deep breath, it is so calm and everything is in its place, it seems lady Noriko took care very well of everything. You gasped once you noticed the red roses on the Bush Itachi got for you had bloomed as well, you wanted one and Itachi noticed it, as he walked to it and picked the most beautiful one and cleaned it from the few thorns that can hurt you then handed it to you and stealing a kiss from you in return. Looking around you smiled seeing Coco, Tatsu's cat had already came to him once he felt your presence at home. After having a nice dinner, you gave Tatsu a warm bath then tucked him in bed, wishing him a goodnight and kissing him as the little boy fell asleep quickly. You turned around to see Itachi standing behind you with a little smile on his face watching his son sleeping peacefully, as you then both left his room toward yours.
Being tired didn't stop you from having some sweet time together, you simply had a warm bath together, yet nothing too forward happened, but there was lots of fun and playing around and flirting. You were already in bed, resting your head against Itachi's chest, barely able to keep your eyes open as you randomly played with the hem of the blanket.
"Itachi?", you muttered breaking the silence, looking at the red rose in the vase besdie you, the room was lightened in a soft dim glow coming from the bedside lamps, his hand was tangled in your hair busy playing with your locks of hair.
He responded to you with a soft hum, kissing your head as you felt his arm around your waist trying to pull you even closer if possible.
"Do you have work tomorrow?", you asked, a mere whisper."Yes, I will have to go check things up and see if anything happened during my absence, how about you, sweetheart?", you smiled at his voice, still warm and calm as usual.
"I will stay home with Tatsu for a while, then we will go pay lady Noriko a visit", you said yawning in the end.
"I will also go see her later, we will meet up there then", Itachi said, smiling at you.
"[Name]?", you hummed in response at him, waiting for what he is gonna say next."Since we got tired from traveling and all what happened lately, I thought about going to the hot springs and have some good time together, the three of us", Itachi said calmly as you nodded slowly, you would really love spend some time alone with them, relax and make up for the hard time you have passed through back at the leaf village, you closed your eyes and smiled at the idea, the weekend seems a nice time to go there.
"[Name]?", Itachi called your name sweetly, wanting to ask you for more ideas to spend time together, maybe going to the meadow for a little picnic, or go a little bit more farther away and sit under that old cherry blossom tree overlooking that lake? Maybe just a simple date at a restaurant or a cafe, or just hangout together in the village? Or maybe...
"[N-name]?!", he called again hearing no answer from you, he looked down at you to see that you have already fallen asleep with a smile on your face.
He just watched you for a little while, what could have happened if you two never met? He doesn't even want to think about it. He corrected your sleeping position next to him, he turned you towards him, still in his arms, as he looked at your features admiring them, until he had fallen asleep as well.
