It is a beautiful day, holding a sweet memory. You were in the kitchen putting the food carefully in your basket getting ready for you picnic with Itachi, only the two of you this time.

"Dango is the secret key to his heart...", you muttered with a giggle putting some of it in the basket as well, yes dango is the key to his heart, but that is only when it's given from your hands.
You gasped once you heard the door gets open and his footsteps echoed inside, a big smile appeared on your face seeing him step inside the kitchen, holding a bag in his hand, it seems he also got something for your picnic, probably some fresh fruits.

"I'm here as planned, but where is Tatsu?", Itachi asked putting the bag aside on the counter then stealing a kiss from you.
"Don't worry yourself about Tatsu today, he is staying with lady Noriko, it will be just us...", you replied with a little smile seeing him smirk, of course he loved this.

"So I'm having you all for myself then", he said with a smirk making you giggle, then tiptoeing reaching for his cheek and kissing him, "and so, you are all for me as well, I love you Itachi", you whispered, gently passing your hand over his ponytail then continued to prepare your basket of food.

You have been wearing a pair of sandles, a knee length lavender dress, short sleeved with a satin belt around your waist, you let your hair down and adorned it with a beautiful hair clip, you barely had any makeup on. You loved the feels of the breeze bowling gently as you walked out of the village to your destination, holding the basket of food in your hand while Itachi held the other things in one hand and the beautiful wagasa in the other one, shading the two of you from the sun as he walked next to you. He was wearing just some casual clothes, a pair of dark blue pants, a plain white shirt and a black jacket, he looked so simple yet so handsome as usual.

You sat under the old cherry blossom tree overlooking that beautiful lake and had your lunch while chatting and talking about some things, such as Tatsu's training that started a short while ago. Itachi fed you with his own hands as you did the same, enjoying the calmness and being together alone, thanks to Noriko who suggested on you to leave Tatsu with her, you and Itachi need some private time alone out of the bedroom, and she needs some company, indeed, ever since you have met Itachi then married him, she has been living alone in her house.

After having some food you just decided to sit around and enjoy yourselves, Itachi laid down on the blanket on his back while you sat beside him watching the lake in front of you as the breeze blew gently making some petals fall down making a beautiful scene. You looked at him and smiled, he looks so peaceful right now, but you know all this will be gone once his beloved ones are in danger...

"Itachi..."
"Yes, m'love"
"...I love you...", you said with a little blush, he knows this and you know you keep telling him how much you love him, you just felt the need to tell him and let him know once more.
He smiled as he grabbed your hand then gently pulled you above him, holding you still and looking deep in your eyes as you hovered over him, he can see himself...he is not the same person from the past, he is a new one, with a new life and new hope.

"No matter what I say I can't explain how much I love you...I'm in love with you [name]", he whispered as he passed his fingers through your hair, what could be better than this?!
You kissed him as you then laid beside him and rested your head on his chest, feeling him gently playing with your hair. There was no need for more talk, all you two wanted was to just enjoy each other's company and appreciate these precious moments. Closing your eyes, you had fallen into slumber, having a little nap and seeing a sweet dream about him, it is beautiful how you two want each other constantly even though staying together most of the time, sometimes it looks like you have developed an addiction for each other.

It was already night, and once you headed back to the village, instead of heading straight home Itachi took you to a restaurant to have some dinner, a tasty meal of fish and rice and some salad. You looked up from your plate finding him staring at you with that look on his face, a mixture between a smirk and a smile, what is he thinking about?
"What is it? Itachi?", you asked, taking a bite from your food with your chopsticks, seeing the smirk on his face as he took a sip from his glass of juice, does he ever drink? You haven't seen him do it before though...and you appreciated that in him.

"You look different today, [name], something about you is changed...", he said in his deep voice, his eyes never leaving your face, seeing how you blushed at this, did he notice?!
"Nothing really...um...maybe it is just because I'm wearing this dress", you said with a little smile as you continued eating. You have decided to stop with the birth control and try to have another baby, make it a surprise for Itachi and let him live those moments he missed with Tatsu, but you only started it a week or so and surely the pregnancy will take some time to happen.
"You look beautiful in that dress my love", Itachi replied with a gentle smile as he resumed eating as well.

"Before we leave...", Itachi said as you two finished dinner, reaching for the inner pocket of his jacket and taking out a little small navy blue box, sliding it on the table towards you.
"A present for me?!", you exclaimed happily, taking it excidelty and opening it, gasping in surprise as you took the beautiful thin pendant from inside of it in your hands and looking at it, it was so beautiful with that heart shaped jewel in the middle of it, so simple but also so meaningful and elegant.

You looked at Itachi giving him a bright smile and then thanked him, though he didn't have to bring you a gift today since his presence with you is the most beautiful gift you can have, you still loved his present.
"Let me put it for you", Itachi said standing up and walking over to you, taking the pendent in his hands as you held your hair out of the way for him to place it around your neck. You smiled and touched it as soon as he finshed, and then soon after that, the two of you headed back home.

You entered the calm house and headed to your room, hand in hand with Itachi. You love your house, it's amazing the amount of beautiful memories it holds, Itachi proposed to you here, you spent your wedding night here, Tatsu was born here, Itachi was back here...everything beautiful happened here...

You laid beside him,m, you lazily darted your eyes up to his face, seeing the love in his eyes as he observed every detail of you, a few love whispers has been exchanged between the two of you before finally giving up and falling into deep slumber, never letting go of each other...

Days passed...

It was one beautiful evening, it wasn't cold nor hot, the sun was still up yet to go down. You have been sitting on the wooden engawa facing your garden and the koi fish pond sipping some tea, while Tatsu was somewhere around plying with his cat Coco as Itachi was watering some flowers.

You were nervous, should you tell him now or wait until you are alone?...what will be his reaction? well, it is a beautiful surprise, he is supposed to be happy...you sighed taking another sip from your cup...
"Hey, you seem so calm, love", Itachi said, sitting beside you on the engawa after he finished watering those plants, pouring a cup of tea for himself as well and taking a sip from it. Of course, he had noticed your constant thinking ever since this morning. You looked at him then put the cup down as you hesitated for a little while, you already have Tatsu, but this is new to the both of you, telling him the news and passing through all of it all again together, with him, it feels better...

"Itachi..."
"Yes sweetheart, tell me"
"I...I'm pregnant"
