It was dawn...
You were still sleep peacefully in the warm bed, as the sheets covered some parts of your body while others were exposed, your hair was spread over the pillow and sheets as you smiled in your sleep, unaware of the kunai held at your throat by none other that your beloved husband, Itachi Uchiha...
"This is it [name]...thank you for everything..."
He muttered as he looked at your face under the few light that came through the window, examining your features deepily, as if he was trying to memorise it for the last time...
"I loved you...I truly did from the bottom of my heart, we lived a wonderful love story together, an unexpected love that lightened up my life, you gave me everything that have been taken away from me once [name], you meant life to me, the real sense of life in all its beauty and glory, but...our journey has come to an end...I love you...[name]", you smiled in your sleep as you heard his soft whispering, as it added more charm and magic to the sweet dream you are having.

Why is he hesitating?...

"you have loved me foolishly [name], you have shared with me everything you have without even thinking of the consequences, or rather ignoring them, even though everyone warned you from me, even Madara..you didn't want to back away from me...", back away? How would you back away when he made you fall in love with him? He is involved in all of this, no it is all his doing! If he didn't keep pulling you to him you wouldn't fall for him and get all this attached to him.
He started it, and he will finish it...
Will he be able to bear the remorse and the guilty conscience of killing you? Will he be able to get over it, or even just pretend it was nothing like what happened years ago with his clan and family? Why even think about it? It's only a matter of a few time and he will also go as well...

He closed his eyes, tears slipped out of them falling on your cheeks as he gathered all his might to press the kunai down and cut your throat in one move once for all, ending this quickly and painlessly...
He opened his eyes breathing quickly as sweat ran down his chest and forehead, mixing with his own tears, as his hand remained still, refusing to move and hurt you, or even scratch your skin, what's your fault [name] to suffer this cruel destiny? It was never your fault! You only gave him everything beautiful you could offer, you just cared for him, and healed him, made sure he is warm on the cold days and nights, you just...loved him unconditionally, is that his reward for you for your love and kindness? Make you fall in love with him, live a total love story with you then kill you as if nothing happened?
Itachi knew he is not like before, he is weak...against you, he can't even lay a finger on you in any attention to harm you, even if he wanted to...

Why did he started this in the first place, if he planned to kill you at the ened? Simply because he was in love...he had no control over his heart, he didn't know things would her this far...and even if he did, he couldn't stop...

He wiped out his sweat and tears, he hide the kunai, he pulled the covers on you, making sure you're warm and well comfortable as he looked at your face, kissing your forehead then your lips gently, "my love for you was so real [name], everything between us was real...", he whispered in your ear one last time as he then left you, changing into his usual clothes, getting ready to leave.
He failed his plan to kill you [name], he couldn't finish it, your life is more precious than anything else...

You stirred in your place, touching the spot beside you searching for Itachi to snuggle to him, as your eyes then opened when you couldn't find him next to you, you sat in the bed confused, where did he go on this early morning? You looked around in the bathroom's direction, no one seems to be there, where did he go?
You grabbed your white juban as you got up, then put on the juban and wrapped it around your body, not even bothering to tie it, you climbed down the staircase carefully in an easy pace, no one seems downstairs as well...
You opened the front door and exited the house, it's still too early, even birds are still sleeping, you shivered as the cold breez hit your body, you tightened your grip on your juban as you looked up at the sky to see it covered with clouds as some fog was  spread around.
You looked around at the garden, there is no sound...no one is here as well...

"Itachi?!", you called in a confused voice looking around as you then decided to exited the house and look for him outside, you pushed the external gate open, you took a few steps ahead, and there you saw him a distance away...
"ITACHI?!!"
