You sat beside Hidan watching him as he breathed calmly, Zetsu had left the room leaving you alone with him as Kakuzu didn't get back again.
You have fallen asleep while resting your cheek on your hand when you have been observing him, you didn't notice it when he started to stir then opened his eyes slowly...

"D*man it...what happened?!", he said in a weak voice groaning in pain, as he felt dizzy from the effect of the anesthetic you have given him earlier.
Hearing his voice you quickly woke up, to find him looking at you with half opened eyes clearly confused to see you.
"Hey Kakuzu, why do you look like that bi*ch [name]?", he asked, holding his forehead as his vision was still blurry, you looked around, no one is there, does he think you are Kakuzu? Of course...
"I'm the bi*ch herself, literally", you replied with annoyance clear in your voice, as you placed your hand on his forehead to sense it, he is fine, just a little time until the effect of the anesthetic fades away and the antidote does it's work fully and he will be able to get up, even the wounds has been completely healed by your medical ninjutsu.
"Oh, it's you, nice to see you again, pretty face", Hidan said with a chuckle, trying to sit up in bed, as you rolled your eyes and helped him up.
"Do you need something?", you asked him, he is supposed to feel thirsty, so that's you know the surgery has been a success.
"Can I have some water? D*mn...I feel like I haven't drink in ages...", he said looking around for something to drink.
"Here...", you handed him a bottle of water, as he opened it and started to drink then putting it aside as he finished.

"Hey...", you looked at him to see what he wants as you were about to stand up and leave.
"Yes?"
"Look, I'm sorry for what happened that time", he started as he rubbed the back of his head, seriously?! could it be because you healed him?
"It's okay, but I would like if it doesn't happen again, also, don't call me bi*ch, I have a name and you know it", you said as you started gathering your stuff.
"Okay okay,..so, can we have a new start?", he said with a smirk as you rolled your eyes again, what does he want?
"You heard what Itachi said, we are together", you said in a serious voice standing up and grabbing your bag.
"Come on, what do you like about him anyway? He looks like a grumpy crow", Hidan said with a chuckle sitting on the edge of the bed and examining his own body.
"None of your business, besides, I like crows. Now I guess we have already talked too much, so I'm leaving", you said as you started leaving while he chuckled more and watched you leave then stood up, heading to the bathroom.

You entered your room, and since there is nothing else for you to do you decided to bring out your scrolls and books and study them more, and maybe borrow some of Itachi's as well, you don't know what to expect from his books, maybe you can find something interesting there as well.
You locked the door and sat on the bed with your papers scattered around you, you studied for a while before feeling tired and hungry. You went to the kitchen, and luckily there was food, you quickly prepared something for you to eat before heading back to yours and Itachi's room, locking the door and putting some seals on the walls and the floor to prevent even Zetsu from entering through the ground or the ceiling or the walls. You took a quick shower and then laid in bed, it was your first time sleeping alone in the Akatsuki's hideout without Itachi with you, you have gotten stronger...you weren't afraid to face anyone in case they tried something, but you missed him so much, the emptiness he left made you clutch tight on the covers as you buried your face in the pillow, you closed your eye hoping that he'd be back soon, safe and unharmed. You kept thinking of him until you have fallen asleep, having a sweet dream of the you of two.

In the mean time, Itachi and Kisame has been spending a night in an inn. Itachi was of course concerned about you, he knows very well how strong you are, he was sure if you have been put in a tough position now you will able to react and defend yourself, but he couldn't help it, you have become part of him, he can't just ignore the feeling of worrying over you, he promised to protect you, even if this is a good chance for you to know your limits and abilities but he doesn't think he will be able to handle it in case anything bad happened to you.

The next day you woke up at a sound of a knock on your door. Yoo got up from your pplace quickly as you thought it could be Itachi who had come back, and since you've sealed the room he couldn't enter, you opened it and there you found Zetsu standing at the door.

"Good morning...well, it seems you have got a new mission, [name]", he said in that calm voice of his as you furrowed your eyebrows, what the...?
"What mission? With whom?", you asked, apparently not happy to be disturbed this morning, and with a mission out of nowhere...
"You're meant to accompany Hidan and Kakuzu on their next mission, Hidan is already able to go on missions thanks to your efforts", he said as his white half smiled at you making you feel uneasy, maybe it was a mistake to hidden your best in healing Hidan...but that's what you have been taught, to help whoever is in need with all you can.

"So?", you said crossing your arms over your chest waiting for more details.
"You will have to heal them and assist them in case they needed", he said still smiling in a weird way.
"Assist?!", your raised your eyebrow confused.
"Yes, we know you have been training with Itachi, and from what I can see, you have great abilities, not just in fight but also...in tracking and sensing others, not to talk about the seals you make, also these are yours", he said handing you some cash, apparently he has been spying on you the entire time, it's okay though, he can't do anything about it, whether you want to help or not is up to you.
"I will be ready soon, hopefully it doesn't take long...", you said as you then walked inside the room again, and locked it.

Great, now you're trapped with the two freaks in a mission you don't even know how long it will take...
