"Yes sweetheart? You called for me?", Itachi said as he walked in the kitchen with a pleased smile on his face, you can see the happiness clear in his eyes, and how can he not be happy? His precious younger brother Sasuke is here right now.
"Yes, I need you to help me carry the food there and also...", you trailed off, putting the bowels and the plates in a tray.
"Also?", he said raising an eyebrow.
"Itachi, don't do that", you said, turning around to face him as you took off your apron.
"What do you mean?", he asked not quite understanding what you meant.
"Your brother...don't be cold toward him like that", you said looking in his eyes with a slight frown on your face, you heard some of their conversation, and as you can tell, Itachi is so worried about you that he stopped his brother's attempts to take him back with him to the leaf, even for a short visit, you surely don't want to be apart from Itachi anymore...but Sasuke's feelings shouldn't be ignored...he wants to feel that old feeling, that they are together at the leaf...recall beautiful memories, go to old places...
"Cold?! No my love, I am not, it is just that he was asking me to move in into the hidden leaf...and you know we already took our choice to stay here", Itachi said seriously as he shook his head slightly, it wasn't just because of you he doesn't want to go, it's just that he feels better here...after all, the village and it's old places have been wiped out during Pain's assault.

"Yes, and I'm still holding onto that, but I don't want to be a reason that keeps two brothers separated or distant,..maybe at least you two can spend sometime together here for now, as I said, I and you have all the time to spend together but...he misses you so much, after all what happened, and that he just found out you're alive, I guess he still can't believe it, Itachi give this moments everything you've got, try to make up even for a little bit for the pain you two passed through, put down that fire in his heart that burns him from the inside...", you said with a small smile as you finished preparing the food, a drop of tear in your eye...
"I know...and I miss him too, I didn't say I don't want to be with him or that I will not go there at all, but I have things to do here first", Itachi said as he turned around to face you, smiling gently at you and wiping out your tears with his thumb finger.
"Well...maybe you can ask him to stay here with us for a while, I'm sure he will like it in here and be happy especially with you, it will be a chance for you two to spend more time together and also, Tatsu will get to know his uncle better", you said with a bright smile.
"Yes of course, that's what I was planning to do as well", Itachi said leaning back against the counter as you nodded.

"Good", you muttered.
"He also has a little family, he has a little daughter named Sarada, his wife is someone called Sakura, I guess you had already met her before", Itachi said as you gasped slightly, recalling the time you have been chased off by her and Naruto, you managed to escape from them easily thanks to your genjutsu, but then, you met team Gai and you got injured, it was Kisame who came first to you aid back then..
"That's so sweet! Itachi you should visit them sometime", you smiled at him, shaking the sad memories out of your mind.

"And you [name]? You don't want to come with us when that time comes?", he asked slightly narrowing his eyes, you just sighed.
"Things aren't the same for me...the leaf knows the truth about you and why you did what you did, for the sake of protecting the village, but things aren't the same for me, I guess I'm still considered a traitor and maybe a criminal...", you said looking down sadly, slightly biting your lower lip.
"What?! You mean because you joined the Akatsuki?", Itachi furrowed his eyebrows heading what you have said.
"Yes, my situation toward the leaf isn't the same as yours, they don't have a reason to forgive me, I'm not one of them after all, the time I got in an encounter with them they just tried to attack me without even trying to know what made me join the organization", you said in a low voice, surely something like that would hurt...

"[name]", you locked your eyes with Itachi's as he lifted your chin up to face him with his fingers, a serious look on his face matching that stern tone he called your name with.
"Don't ever think I will just let you be mistreated or misunderstood, you didn't harm anyone, you didn't join the Akatsuki on your own, you also have been a victim and suffered a lot, they could have tried to rescue you not just haunt you down. Listen, I and Sasuke will take care of this matter, and you will go to the leaf with me when we are ready, you will go not ashamed of yourself but honored, you are part of the leaf as well and never think otherwise, you belong to there, your parents lived there and were part of the clan that found the village, the Uchiha clan, you're also part of the hidden leaf village before you even became my wife, understood?", he said in a calm but deep and serious voice, looking deep in your eyes as you just listened silently, he meant every word he said of it.
"Yes", you said nodding at him in understanding.
"Now let's not keep Sasuke wait for us more, alright?", Itachi then said as he gave you a sweet smile and kissed you quickly, making you feel better as you nodded at him.
"Sure"

Meanwhile in the reception room, Tatsu was facing Sasuke around the table...

"Uncle?"

"Yes?"
"Why didn't you come to visit us before?"
"I didn't know you were here"
"Why?"
"Because there was a lot of stuff happened and I thought I will never see your dad again, so I decided to look for your mom and hope she'd be okay and then I found you"
"Why?"
"Because I wanted to meet her, and make sure she is fine, we are family"
"Why?", Tatsu just continued asking more 'whys', just needing to know more, and that's when Sasuke's started to feel fed up with it.
"Because..hey, why do you keep asking me so many questions?", Sasuke asked Tatsu narrowing his eyes and crossing his arms over his chest.
"I just want to know", Tatsu said with a grin, making Sasuke hum in response.
"Tatsu, don't disturb your uncle", you said in a serious tone as you walked in along with Itachi carrying the food to the table.
The four of you sat around the table, Itachi sat beside his brother, you sat across from Itachi while Tatsu sat beside you, so you can help him if he needed while eating.
"That's so good...", you heard Sasuke mutters as he tasted the soup in his bowel, this made you smile warmly at him and wish for him to enjoy his meal, you can see how Itachi seemed happy about his brother's presence, they were talking about some things while you were busy helping Tatsu eat his fish.

"So Sasuke, we hope that you're not leaving us so soon", Itachi said taking a bite from his dango as tea has been served later after lunch.
"Well, actually...I'm still under surprise...I have been looking for weeks and all I was hoping for is to find [name], safe and fine, but then I found your son..and then you Itachi! I'm still confused about the whole thing...", Sasuke said with a smile as he took a sip from his cup of tea.
"We know Sasuke...that's why I couldn't just bring things up earlier...I was thinking of a way to tell you and luckily Itachi came in in the right time, but since you're here now, we would like that you spend some time with us, and enjoy your brother's company after so long time of being apart...and also, a festival will be held here soon, you will spend a great time", you said with a smile, as you took a piece of the wagashi sweets Noriko sent to you, and gave Tatsu one as well.
"You see Sasuke, we are not taking no for an answer", Itachi said smiling at you then looking back at Sasuke, who couldn't stop a grin to appear on his face as he nodded and said:"of course!".
