A Cold Freeze in Gotham

After Ivy had escaped from STRR, and the other's Gordon had told the heroes that Mr. Freeze was also an escapee from Arkham, leaving only Robin, Batgirl, RWBY, STRR, Derek and Kyle to chase down Freeze.

"So this oil rig, how will we know if it's the right one or not?" Ruby asked looking at Robin. "Any suggestions or?"

"It'll just be a giant ice cube." Robin answered. "Mr. Freeze is known for one thing, freezing things."

"So I guess that mean's this snow is also the cause of him too huh?" Ruby asked as it was snowing.

Robin simply nods as he stopped. "We should get into warmer gear, something that will help us get through this before it becomes a blizzard."

Yang nods. "Yeah, I'd hate to 'ice-olated' in a snow storm before the battle."

Batgirl face palms. "Again with the puns? Why?"

"Just leave her be." Weiss said as she looked at Batgirl. "It can't get any worse then that."

"Actually...." Jean said. "Mr. Freeze also has ice puns, so.....yeah"

Weiss groans as she looked around for a bit, she had noticed some of the cars were frozen and a trail of ice leading to several banks and jewelry stores. "Seems Freeze has been busy, either way, we need to stop him before anything else."

As they all walked down the road the snow began to get heavier, they soon went into a nearby store which was lucky for them, the store had the right gear for them to wear during the snow storm, as soon as they had bought what they needed, the snow had stopped.

"Well guess old man freeze ran out of 'slush funds' for the snow." Yang said making another pun as she looked to see Batgirl not amused. "Aw come on don't give me the 'cold shoulder' lighten up some."

Batgirl and Weiss groaned as they sighed, Kyle found the puns funny as he snickered a bit. Sean looked outside as he saw a snowplow and got an idea, he then turned around to face the others.

"I have an idea, you see that snowplow there? We can use that to shovel snow out of our path, and get to where Freeze is." Sean said.

Nathan nods in agreement. "Sounds good, but we have to make sure it isn't dead, what good would a snowplow be if it's battery is dead?"

After having checked on the snowplow, Ryan decided to drive it to push the snow out of their path, everywhere they looked however, either someone was frozen in a car, or in a block of ice. there wasn't much they could do to save them, not yet at least, Weiss didn't have any fire dust on hand, nor did the others have any. Thankfully they came to a stop near the bridge, it too was just a block of ice, one wrong step and they could slip into the freezing ocean.

Blake looked around for a moment as she noticed a ice path that Freeze had left behind, she cocked an eyebrow up as she went over to it. "Hey guys look, it seems we may have a path after all....but the question is where does this lead too? I mean sure there was some left behind that led to banks and other stores, but this one might lead to oil rig."

"Well only one way to find out." Derek said looking at his sister, he then looked back at the group. "Me and Blake will scout ahead, since we're Faunus, we should be able to handle a good cold breeze."

Yang snickered a little. "If you're able to handle a cold chill girlfriend, you can handle anything cold."

"YANG!!" Weiss yelled at the comment. "I'm not that cold anymore."

"Yeesh, just joking, take a 'chill pill' Weiss." Yang said as she was hit with a snowball. "Okay who threw that?"

"Eep, sorry." Ruby said gulping a bit. "Just thought that while we'd wait we could have a snowball fight."
