RWBY - Dimension Saga

Four against one

Team RWBY was getting ready to go outside for another training match, Ruby looked around for her Crest Rose but couldn't find it she looked everywhere high and low but no luck.

"Where is it? Where's Crescent Rose?" Ruby asked sitting in bed. "I looked everywhere even in my locker."

"Did you ask Derek?" Yang asked. "I would ask him if I lost my gauntlets, maybe he has it."

Ruby jumped off her bed and went to find Derek and ask if he seen Crest Rose. "Derek you in here? I need to ask you something, it's about Crescent Rose."

Derek was sitting down at a table with Crescent Rose. "Hmm oh yes I have it here, I was just polishing it for you, just give me a minute."

Ruby waited for Derek to finish polishing her weapon, and saw him hand it to her. "Thank you Derek I was wondering if it got stolen."

"Come on you two we need to do our training today remember." Blake said. "It was Derek's idea to do team RWBY against him."

Derek nods. "I didn't forget I was cleaning Ruby's Crescent Rose, so let's go."

Derek stood his ground as the girls stood their ground, Derek drew his Crimson Jupiter's out as he saw the four of them coming at him.

"Here we come." Ruby said trying to hit Derek who dodged her attack. "Stay still so I can hit you."

Yang threw punches at Derek only for him to dodge those. "Ahh! Fight back."

Weiss used some dust to hit Derek which hit him but he blocked it. "Gr."

Blake was the only one to actually knock Derek off his feet with one swipe kick and then she fired at him.

"Fight back." Ruby said still trying to hit Derek.

"Okay then I will." Derek said as he kicked Ruby back and spun in a circle. "No more mister nice guy."

Yang was confused at why Derek said that. "Okay then enough talk and fight."

Derek used some dust to create five dust clones that ran in a circle around the girls. "Which one is the real one?"

Weiss looked trying not to get dizzy. "There try the middle one."

Yang fired a bullet at the middle one. "Darn it was a clone."

The circle got smaller as Derek's clones got closer until Ruby hit the real Derek in the nose.

"Oops." Ruby said. "Sorry."

Derek smiled. "No don't be now then." He then vanished from their sight.

Yang looked around for him but didn't see him. "Where is he?"

Blake's ears twitched and grabbed Derek's arm from behind her and threw him. "Nice try."

"Ah come on." Ruby said. "That's twice Blake got Derek."

Derek stood up and saw some shadows. "Hey Ruby you did say you wanted me to fight back right? Well check this out." He then uses the shadows to counter attack Yang.

"Oh cool." Yang said blocking the attacks. "Didn't expect that, usually Ruby would be surprised by this stuff."

Weiss struck down the shadows with her sword. "So many shadows."

Ruby hit Derek again which stopped the shadows from attacking. "10 points for Ruby."

"Wanna see something cool?" Derek asked.

Ruby nods wondering what Derek wanted to show her.

Derek shrank down to size and started to run up Ruby's arm.

Ruby looked for Derek. "Gahh he vanished again." She then felt something hit her face which sent her flying into Yang and Weiss.

"Careful you dolt." Weiss said as she saw Derek standing next to them.

Derek was in the dorm room and polished all the weapons and heard Yang come in. "Hi Yang what's up?"

"Oh nothing just thought I'd ask what your semblance is." Yang said. "Was it what you did today during our training match?"

Derek stopped polishing and turned to Yang. "Well what you saw was my semblance, the shadows being controlled the vanishing and reappearing, the speed and the shrinking."

Yang was surprised. "Whoa you can shrink I didn't see that? Show me."

Derek shook his head. "Sorry Yang I can't not now maybe at the festival since Pyrrha said there's going to be a tournament there."

"Oh right, but you still don't have your own team yet." Yang said.

Derek nodded. "I may not have my own team myself but I have team RWBY to be on till I do, I did ask professor Ozpin about it and he said that if and when new students come he would let me on their team, but he said after the festival is over that he's going to send CFVY on a mission and I'll be tagging along with them."

Yang thought for a moment and smiled. "Oh now I get it he's getting you to work with other teams instead of team RWBY."

Derek nods and gives Yang her gauntlets. "Those are done and if the girls ask I still have their weapons."

Yang nodded and left Derek to finish cleaning the weapons. "Weiss did pick herself a good man to love...wish I could do the same, but who knows maybe I'll meet the right guy at the festival?"

Ruby sat in her bed eating cookies while wondering why she had a little red mark on her face. "How did that happen? I don't know but maybe Derek did that but probably didn't mean to, eh if he did then it didn't really hurt."

Weiss was studying for a test they have to do and she saw Derek come in with their weapons. "Oh there's my Myrtenaster, thank you Derek."

"Just gave the weapons a good clean, and here's your Gambol Shroud, Blake." Derek said giving Blake her weapon.

"Such a nice brother you have." Yang said. "I'd say if Weiss wasn't his boyfriend I'd take him for myself, but who knows?"

"Yang your to old for him." Ruby said. "Besides we don't really know his age, he could be like my age or something?"

"Actually I'm only 16." Derek said. "My birthday isn't till after Valentines day."

Weiss dropped her study papers. "Wait your birthday's after that day, my birthday is on Valentines day, and I'm only 17."

"Um Weiss you just told us your age." Yang said. "That's bad for telling it."

"How? Ruby said she's only 15 when we started here." Weiss said. "And I can guess that you and Blake are 17 as well."

"Well that is the age required to attend." Derek said. "Plus Blake is the oldest of me and her, and who's hungry for dinner?"

Everyone raised their hands expect Ruby who was munching on cookies still but stopped and noticed Derek looking at her and smiled as she put the cookies back, and got out of bed and walked up to Derek handing him the pack of cookies and hugged him.

"Well that's surprising." Yang said. "Why did you do that for Ruby?"

Ruby just smiled. "Because he's my Onii-Chan for the time being." She hugged tighter.

"Ruby can't breath, can't breath." Derek said trying to push Ruby off him and heard the others laugh, "You can let go now Rubes, come on please let go I have to make dinner for us all....why do I even bother?"

Everyone couldn't stop laughing even Ruby and Derek started to laugh as well, finding it way to funny what a night it will turn out to be for them. Derek truly felt the love from all four of the girls even if Blake didn't show it too much to him, he was still happy.
