My heart feels as if it's about to stop pumping the blood through my veins. I was expecting a disaster when Russ and I made our way up the stairs to my bedroom, but nothing could have prepared me for the actual hell that I've just walked into.

The first thing my eyes find is Dane. Dane, standing less than 10 feet from where my daughter lay asleep in her bouncer, and directly beside where Ty sit on my loveseat.

Is... Is this real?

How the hell did he get in here? And when? Why couldn't anybody inform me of his fucking presence before I stepped foot through my bedroom door?! I knew it was a bad idea bringing Evelyn out here with me; Of course he'd hunt her down, finding his way to me in the process!

"T- Tyler... just take the baby, and go home..." I mumble, my body shaking and legs weak. I can feel everybody's eyes burning into my already hot with anxiety face. "Russ can walk you down on his way out..."

I don't know what else to say! I don't know what else to do! Nobody is fucking safe right now; I'm sitting in a room with Dane, my 'baby daddy,' my current boyfriend, the child he's wanted to kill, and his less than favored little sister.

"I'm not going anywhere," Ty says, pulling himself from the love seat to make his way over to where I stand frozen at the door. He eyeballs Russ with furrowed brows. "Who the hell is this? Where were you?"

The question escapes his lips, but the answer must find it's way to his mind just as quick. A look of shock, then hurt, and then anger flashes across his face in seconds.

"You were out with some guy? And left our daughter alone with a fucking junkie?" He asks after a moment, his voice raising toward me despite the 'company' we have in our presence. I easily grow overwhelemed, my mind racing as he continues. "You're lucky I didn't call the police, Hayden! Damn! Do you know what you've allowed tonight? Do you understand that-"

I can't do it anymore; I can't sit here and listen to Tyler try to scold me amidst everything else I have going on right now! I interrupt him, easily finding myself growing angry behind my panic attack. "Don't fucking talk to me like that, Ty!" I snap, making my way over to where McKaiden lay in her bouncer. "Don't talk to me at all! You're having a fucking baby with Sophie; You have no right to be upset that I've moved on, and I'm not going to sit here and listen to you go off about it! We will do this another time, okay?! Not in front of all these people!"

I try not to pay any attention to Dane, but his presence seems to suck all of the air out of the room. Every couple of seconds, he let's out a small laugh as if what he's witnessing is the funniest thing in the world. Still, I unlatch the handle for the baby's bouncer, carefully lift it, and proceed to walk back to Ty.

"Sophie was an accident!" he exclaims as I make it to him, his face both embarrassed and mad at the same time.

I try to shove McKaiden's seat in his hands but he's too busy trying to explain himself to take her, rambling on about something I can't even begin to hear. My internal thoughts are running too wild in panic.

Why is he doing this?! Why right now?!

I need him to take the baby, take Russ, and get the hell out of here; Has that not become clear?!

I look to Ev for what may quite possibly be the first time tonight knowing she's the only person in this room that feels the same panic. Evelyn, the girl who has apparently been betraying my trust for months, is the only person I can look to for help.

She stares back at me with wide eyes before adverting her gaze to Dane in a way I know means to follow them. I don't want to, but I do, only to be met with his dark eyes piercing me. He darts his gaze from Ty to the door, and then back to me with a brow raised in such a way that demands I take action from it.
