"It's so easy for them to get to you," Hermione shook her head as we walked down the halls of school. The first day back from break. In her hands heald the latest issue of the Daily Prophet. I'll sum it up for you, more and more people were dying or disappearing. "Your bloody lucky you weren't killed. You have to realize who you are, Harry."
"I know who I am Hermione, all right?" Harry rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, the chosen one who keeps inching his arse towards death," I scoffed at him.
"I don't want this," Harry threw his arms up before he took a deep breath. "Sorry."
We turned the corner as we walked down the crowded corridor. Sat on a bench, was no other than Hogwart's favorite love couple. Lavender and Ron.
"Me and George were never that gross," I scrunched up my nose.
"Excuse me I have to go vomit," Hermione walked away from the scene.
"I'll go hold her hair back," I shot Harry a smile as I followed after her. "Hermione, wait up!"
She stopped as she turned around to look at me, "You don't have to come with me, you know. Could have stayed with Harry."
"Yes I do," I told her as I caught up with her. "You have that look in your eyes."
"What look?" Hermione asked confused.
"The same look I had when Alicia Spinnet kissed George under the stairs in 3rd year," I told her.
"Is that why you wanted her to fall off her broom at every quidditch match that year?" Hermione raised a brow at me.
"Oh fuck yeah," I nodded my head. "You see, even though it was a stupid dare, she still had something I wanted."
"What? George?" Hermione asked. "I get what you're getting at, but it's not the same thing."
"Oh, so you don't want to rip that bow off of Lavender's head because she's with Ron?" I crossed my arms over my chest.
"No," Hermione scoffed.
"Remember Hermione, you can't lie to me," I said in a sing-song voice.
"Fine," Hermione huffed out. "What am I supposed to do about it then?"
I shrugged my shoulders, "Eat some ice cream, burn her picture, hell burn Ron's while you'er at it. And just wait."
"Wait?" Hermione asked. "Wait for what?"
"For them to break up," I threw my arm over her shoulder. "Trust me, that couple is not making it to the end of this year."
"How can you know that?" Hermione asked as we started to walk again.
"I see all Hermione," I waved my hand in the air for emphasis. Hermione just raised a brow at me again. "And Ron may have been complaining over break about how annoying Lav-Lav gets."
"So... you just want me to cry and wait?" Hermione asked me.
"Oh yeah," I nodded my head. "Your much too strong of a woman to just chase after him. You have to wait for the idiot ginger to come after you."
"Is that with you did with George?" Hermione asked.
"No, I think that had something to do with me growing boobs that made his little brain look at me," I told her. "And then his big brain started to grow, you know how it comes slower for boys than girls, and we feel in love."
"Hope, you explain love in the strangest of ways," Hermione smirked at me.
"Love is a strange thing," I smiled at her.
