"Ivy you feel like going to a party with me" Pooh says aiming back into the room.

"I— wait you said tonight would be a us night what the fuck happened"

"That's what I'm doing"

"No it's not. I don't party and going with you, I don't know. I thought we'd spend the night together as a couple. Not out drinking and smoking" I say.

"Ivy it's yes or no you're being difficult"

"How am I being difficult"

"You not answering the question"

"Are you mad at me, did you not want me here, I'm confused" I say putting my phone done and fully looking at him.

"What are you talking about"

"Since I've been here just everything. I'm getting short responses, late replies, not as many calls or they're short, distance I don't like it. I'm not use to it"

"I'm not doing none of that"

"Stokeley yes you are. Why are you calling me Ivy when you haven't called me that since we met what almost three years ago"

"I'm saying your name"

"Do you want me here, yes or no" I asked getting frustrated and upset.

"I'm asking you a question so answer me. If you don't want me here I'll leave. I don't want to take up unnecessary time and space for you" I say, a deep breath following my words.

"Not if you going to be arguing the whole time. I wanted to go out to a party a with you and you mad" he said.

"I'm not mad at you. Thank you for offering I don't want to party. I have work tomorrow anyway I'll head back to the apartment. I appreciate y'all letting me stay, okay" I say getting up and grabbing my charger.

"You leaving now"

"When is the party"

"I'm a few hours" he said checking his phone.

"I'll leave when you leave then" I tell him. He stared at me before walking away.

A few hours have passed since me and Ivy was arguing I guess about the party. I don't get why she upset she wanted us to do something so I got something to do's me she upset.

" I'm going to head to the party early V" I say getting up from laying in her.

"Oh then I'll grab my shoes and I'll head out too" she said about to get up.

"Bro why are you always trying to leave" I say. She been going to work from here and coming back I put the gas in the car. Jah have breakfast ready for her some days.

"You want to go out and I don't want to be in your way. I feel like if I'm here and you come in all drunk I'm going to be mad at you and although I'll help you get into bed and medicine for a hangover if you have it I just don't want the argument. You didn't want me here if I was going to argue so I'm trying to avoid it" she says looking at me.

"We won't argue I won't get that drunk. You can just come to make sure"

"I don't want to. I'm okay"

"You want me stay here with you, I though both y'all was going out" Jah says jumping into shit.

"No she don't want to do shit no more"

"Stokeley that's not true"

"Yes it is Ivy, you don't want to be around me"

"Well I'll be in the car" he said getting up.

"Stokeley, I do want t be around you but when you have the time. I don't want to feel like I'm begging or smothering you for attention. We can do something together another time"

"You want me drive you"

"No, I can drive. Just call me when you get in the house after the party. Also please keep me updated during the party that's all I ask"

"Alright V" I say

"Thank you, I love you"

"Love you too" I said.

Short chapter because I feel like I've reached a good point to shake things up... how you feeling?
