"Have you not been doing the online work we didn't have to come for two periods" I say.
"Nah, last class I was drunk and sleep and then I kept coming and figured it was just cancelled. Is the work past due already" he says taking his phone out.
"No Stokeley it's all due next week it's 3 assignments two simple ones and one is a 1000 word short essay. They're all easy" I say reassuringly.
"If I pass this shit I owe you"
"No it's fine I promise"
He just nodded before he went back to his phone. We had nothing else to do for the last ten minutes and Miarah wasn't here so I didn't have that to worry about. FaFa kept falling asleep so she wasn't a problem either.
"Let me see your phone" he says holding his hand out.

"Let me see, I'm not going to mess with your chew toy don't worry" he laughed.
