It's another day for the class to endure another round of physical training. Today's focus: stamina and cardio. Music thumps in the background while the instructor encourages everyone to keep going. Most of the friend group runs side by side on their treadmills, chatting between breaths.

"Jesus, Pietro...!" Natasha huffed, glancing sideways. Even though she knew how fast he could be, watching him max out the treadmill speed still surprised her. "Can't you ever just take it easy?"

"Don't discourage him." Wanda said, running beside her. "He has to burn off all that energy somehow—otherwise, he'll just be bouncing off the walls."

Tony looked over with amusement. "Maybe I should build a hamster wheel for him."

Suddenly, a loud crack sounded. Pietro's treadmill sputtered and broke down, sending him flying off the back with a thud. He blinked up at the ceiling, mildly dazed, then glanced at the busted machine.

"Whoops."

The teacher jogged over, already frowning. "Another one, Maximoff?"

Pietro stood and brushed himself off. "Sorry your gear can't keep up with me."

"Watch the attitude." The teacher said with a half-smirk before turning back to inspect the damaged equipment. "I really need to come up with a custom routine for you. These machines aren't built for whatever that was."

Pietro perked up. "Does that mean I can skip these classes?"

"It means you'll be doing even more cardio—just not on my machines. To the weights, Maximoff."

Pietro groaned. "Fine..."

As he trudged off toward the weight area, the rest of the group chuckled.

"He'll never change." Wanda said, shaking her head fondly.

As the group continued their workout, Y/N glanced around the gym. He smiled, watching how far they'd come—from strangers to a team that actually enjoyed being around each other.

Still, two people were missing.

Off to one side was Steve, quiet and focused, his expression unreadable. On the other was Clint, distant and alone as usual.

While Y/N's relationship with Steve was still... complicated—despite several awkward check-ins about the beach incident—he felt there was a real chance to reach out to Clint.

Making a mental note, Y/N decided: he'd talk to him. Soon.

As the minutes passed, the class finally got a break. Seeing an opportunity, Y/N made his way over to Clint, who stood alone in a corner, sipping water. The archer immediately tensed, wary of his approaching leader.

"Hey." Y/N greeted casually. "Noticed you've been working out alone. You know you could join us, right?"

"I know." Clint replied curtly. "I just don't want to."

Y/N hummed softly. "About the group not really feeling like a team—I've been working on that. I've talked to most of the others. Sure, Steve's still pissed at me, but everyone else is starting to get along. You could too."

Clint remained silent, his expression unreadable. Y/N continued. "The only person holding you back right now is you. Not us."

"You misunderstand." Clint said bluntly. "I have zero intention of being friends with anyone here. Especially not you. Unless it's necessary, don't expect me to chat."
