After helping Pietro, Y/N realizes that if the rest confront their problems as well, the team will become stronger. Quicksilver already managed to get back to the main group without much issue and now goes to class. Thus, as the autumn break almost arrives, Lucky Charm hopes he can help out one other person before everyone goes home for a week.

Without thinking too much about it, Y/N goes to Tony, who's back at the school's lab. Like many other students, the brunette is working hard on his project. Despite his uncaring attitude, the leader of the Avengers admires his friend's dedication to his hobbies and skills.

That's exactly why he starts the conversation with it. "What kind of invention are you going to make?"

Tony looks up, smirking proudly. "Just a gadget that has multiple tools in it. Things like lasers, knives, plug-in hacking codes, etcetera. Thinking the school could sell them to us, which means more money to me."

Y/N chuckles. "Sounds like a good idea, but don't you want your own money?"

"I prefer earning my own." Tony says as he returns to his work. "This will be a Tony Stark original."

Y/N quietly hums. "About what happened back at the training grounds—"

"I know, I know! I paid for the damages and won't do it again." Tony quickly apologizes, not in the mood to be scolded.

"I wasn't going to mention that."

Tony then looks up, wondering what Y/N is up to. "You seem pretty pissed with the constant insults. Don't like it when people mention your rich family."

Tony hesitates to speak up, though he drops his guard since he considers Y/N not that bad compared to the rest. "Don't like it, and don't like to talk about it."

"Fair, but... I want to help out." Y/N says genuinely, which makes Tony a bit wary. "I know the team isn't really the most stable, and I want to fix that. Helping those in it means bettering the team."

"Oh?" Tony looks intrigued. "So it's helping the team instead of helping the individual?"

"I know you're just messing around." Y/N smirks, knowing when Tony teases. "But to me, the team is also its individuals. I get you don't want to talk, but I'm always happy to help you."

Tony then suddenly gets an idea. "...Anything?"

"Yeah?" Y/N then gets some red flags. "Why do I have a feeling there is something... amiss?"

Tony chuckles. "It's nothing too screwed up. Basically, I... I need someone to help me get a rise outta my dad. And you will be the perfect guy."

"I'm not going to do anything illegal." Y/N quickly warns. Tony laughs softly.

"It's not illegal... in most countries." The brunette then walks over to his leader and leans in. "See, my dad is the kind of guy who's got way too high expectations of me. Always wants me to get A's in school, follow his exact footsteps, get a proper girlfriend. And I'm in the mood to say, 'fuck you,' and do the total opposite of that."

Y/N isn't sure what his friend is getting at. "And what does 'total opposite' mean?"

Tony then smirks. "I guess I forgot to mention one thing. I once told my dad I dated a guy, and he flipped out, saying it 'doesn't look good in the public eye.' So, I want you to play pretend—be my boyfriend this vacation."

Y/N looks shocked.

"And not any kind of boyfriend—the one my dad is going to hate."

"...And that includes?"
