Logan continued observing Bobby to no end. While the blonde made sure to keep his distance from Y/N, Logan still watched him closely. However, everything changed during a training session in the Danger Room.

The team was battling a massive training robot, coordinating to attack from all sides. Logan already found it suspicious that his son wasn't paired with Bobby—but instead with Rogue. Still, he decided to focus on the fight.

As the battle went on, the robot malfunctioned. Instead of remaining defensive, it switched to full offense. It charged straight toward Rogue and Y/N. Rogue managed to dodge aside, but Y/N was caught in the movement and got his leg scraped.

Bobby didn't even glance over.

However, someone else did—Scott.

From the opposite side of the room, Scott immediately noticed and, without hesitation, rushed in. He blasted the robot away before it could follow up, then grabbed Y/N by the shoulder and pulled him to safety.

Logan, still actively participating in the simulation, kept a close eye on them. The way Scott held Y/N—tight, protective, instinctive—left little room for doubt. Logan had been wrong about Bobby... but maybe he was right about Scott.

Knowing he needed to be certain, Logan decided to provoke a confession from Scott. Later that night, he slipped a note into Scott's room—written to make it seem like Y/N had requested a romantic meeting outside in the dark.

So, later that evening, Scott arrived at the designated spot, dressed slightly more presentable than usual. Dim lamplight flickered through the trees, and crickets filled the silence.

"Y/N? Y/N, where are you?" Scott called out, looking around.

No answer.

He frowned, pulling out the note again. He reread it carefully. No mistake—this was the right place.

Behind him, a voice spoke.

"Oh, Scottie..."

Scott turned sharply.

Logan stepped out from the bushes.

Of all the people who could be with my son, it had to be you." Logan said, already extending his claws.

Scott immediately tensed. "I—I'm not with him!"

"Really?" Logan tilted his head. "Because I distinctly remember writing that Y/N wanted a romantic little get-together. Unless you're a moron who doesn't understand what 'romantic' means... you're looking for a very good time with my son, aren't ya?"

Scott realized instantly—there was no talking his way out of this.

And Logan was not someone you could physically intimidate either.

So he ran.

Pulling his visor into place, Scott fired a precise optic blast at Logan's foot.

"Fuck!" Logan barked, stumbling.

Scott didn't waste a second—he bolted into the trees.

Logan steadied himself, growling as he gave chase.

"Don't think you can outrun me!"

Watching a movie in the living room, the X-Men were enjoying each other's company. Y/N wished Scott was there to watch with them, but he couldn't find him anywhere. So instead, he sat between his friends Kurt and Kitty, watching the film.
