The Twins, Steve Rogers and Johnny Storm, Fighting Over Their Crush Part 2

Ever since Steve and Johnny's rivalry began, everyone called it typical brother behavior. But for the two of them, it wasn't just sibling teasing—they straight up didn't like each other.

Steve couldn't stand Johnny's lack of sympathy, his bluntness, and crass attitude. Johnny, on the other hand, mocked Steve's old-fashioned values and his 'goody-two-shoes' attitude.

Despite all their differences, their biggest conflict was over the same person: Y/N. They'd fought once about him, and after the infamous beach incident, those fights became way more frequent.

"Johnny, what are you doing?"

Johnny looked up from his whiteboard as his sister, Susan, appeared behind him. Ever since meeting Steve as part of the family, Johnny had grown to appreciate his older sister even more.

"Planning my way to get Y/N."

Susan glanced at the board and raised an eyebrow. It looked more like a plan to take out Steve than anything else. "Are you sure you don't want to just assassinate Steve instead?"

Johnny sighed, already bracing for a scolding. "Look, yeah, I mess with Steve sometimes, but he kinda deserves it. Who is he to deny me someone I like? Just because I used to sleep around doesn't mean I can't turn things around and find true love. Sure, I don't even know if Y/N's the one, but at least give me a chance."

The blonde groaned and turned back to the board. "Meanwhile, he thinks I'm just some slut. If he's gonna judge me for my past, let's be honest — he grew up in a time when things were way less tolerant. Who knows what kind of crap he said back then?"

"Johnny." Susan's voice was firm enough to stop him mid-rant. He looked back at her, expecting another lecture.

"Stop over-explaining. I get that you feel screwed over."

Johnny looked surprised. "Eh? You're not gonna call me a child or anything?"

Susan shook her head. "Look, if you really like Y/N and if he can make you less of a womanizer, I support you. Just... don't do anything extreme against Steve, and treat Y/N with respect."

Johnny grinned, surprised by her support. "See, this is why I love my big sister way more than that asshole twin brother of mine."

Susan chuckled. "Just don't forget — I might steal your man if you're not careful."

Johnny scoffed playfully. "Try me."

Meanwhile, Steve was practicing his lines in front of the mirror. With them written out, he hoped to gain the confidence to finally speak up about his feelings for his longtime crush.

"We've been through a lot together, and out of everyone, I've discovered how much I care about you. Do you want to go out with me?"

Though a bit awkward, Steve thought it sounded alright. Then, someone else booed.

"God, you suck at love."

Steve glanced into the mirror, seeing Tony walk into the restroom, heading straight to the urinals next to the sinks.

He looked away as Tony took a leak. "Excuse me for trying to ask someone out."

Tony smirked. "I'm wondering if it's because you're such a dumbass, or because you're asking a guy." He laughed. "Nah, it's definitely because it's a guy. Unless good ol' Capsicle got some dick in the '40s."
