It's a simple lunch between friends and colleagues. On a warm spring day, the Avengers sit together on the balcony, enjoying their food. With how busy everyone is, it's rare for their schedules to line up—at least not without a world-ending crisis. But today seems to be a small miracle where everyone can finally meet up.
"Honestly, I wish we could do this more often." Steve comments. "It's nice to spend time with everyone without the weight of the world bringing us down."
Tony lets out a groan, followed by a soft laugh. "If only every day could be like this."
As lunch continues, everyone enjoys a lighthearted, merry time. Everything seems perfect—until Y/N glances at his phone to check the time. He hesitates, then looks around at the group and speaks up.
"I'm sorry, but I have to go. Got something planned."
Most of the group looks surprised, some even disappointed.
"But we've been planning this for a month." Thor says, frowning. "What could be more important?"
Clint sighs, already looking tired. "Let me guess—some dumbass is robbing a bank or something?"
"It's nothing like that. Just family stuff." Y/N replies casually, hoping to avoid further questions. He stands up. "Don't worry. We'll see each other another time."
That's when Natasha speaks up, her voice sharp with realization. "Y/N, you've been sneaking off a lot lately."
The man stops, his face unreadable, clearly holding something back.
"Is everything alright with your family?" She asks, concerned.
"Yeah. Just think it's important to see them often." Y/N answers smoothly.
Clint raises an eyebrow. "You know you can talk to us if something's going on. Like... if someone's sick or something."
"It's nothing like that." Y/N assures them. "Just trying to spend more time with them."
"Most people hate their families." Tony comments with a smirk. "And here you are, running to them."
"That says more about you than him." Bruce replies dryly.
Y/N chuckles. "See you all later."

Arriving at the park in his disguise, Y/N is looking for his husband and son. His husband is Loki—the one and only, who once tried taking over the world. Right now, though, he's Jacob Hart, one of the many disguises Loki adopts. However, unlike his other disguises, this one is more of a persona he created for his family.
Jacob is a simple man, a fantasy writer with an upcoming book based on Asgard. With his shorter, darker hair, simple white shirt, leather jacket, and dark blue khakis, he appears as a regular man—though his husband and son know the truth.
And then there's their son—or rather, Fenrir, though he's called Fen in front of everyone. An 8-year-old boy growing up as a mostly normal child, while actually being a god. Despite one of his fathers being a hunted-down god and the other an Avenger, he's still in the dark about the heavy stuff.
"Dad!"
Y/N turns around, seeing his son sprinting toward him. With his other father behind him, the Avenger smiles and gets down on one knee to hug his son.
