The Time Johnny And Reed's Assistant Came Across An Alien Fruit

The Fantastic Four once again explore the universe. This time, they are venturing into the cosmos. Aboard their space shuttle, together with Reed's understudy, Y/N, they set out to see what lies beyond Earth.

Today, the group has discovered a strange planet. From the ship, far above its surface, they look down at the world below. Sending a scout robot, Reed watches the live feed on his tablet. Even from the ship, they can see the planet is covered in massive flora, patches of pink material, and what appears to be a cyan-colored sea.

"This looks gorgeous." Y/N smiles, thrilled that his first space expedition has brought him to something so extraordinary. He glances at Reed, who is standing next to his girlfriend. "Is the planet dangerous?"

"It doesn't appear to be." Reed concludes. "The air quality, while slightly lacking, seems potentially habitable for humans. The insects appear larger than normal. The flora doesn't seem venomous, but the area is densely packed. I still need to determine what the pink material is..."

Johnny grins with excitement. "Then let's drop down!"

"Hold it, Johnny." Susan warns. "We should first analyze the data we've collected before rushing in."

Johnny frowns, gesturing at the planet through the window with disappointment. "Really? We're right there!"

"Are you an idiot?" Ben asks genuinely. "Sure, let's just drop down and hope the giant bugs don't eat us."

Johnny scoffs. "I can just burn them. It'll be fine."

Reed stares at Johnny, his expression serious. "Johnny, this is serious. Preparation is key. We need to research the situation, judge what is dangerous and what isn't, and plan the expedition carefully. We have no reason to rush in. I even suggest we observe the planet for a couple of days first."

Johnny looks shocked. "A couple of days? How many?"

"Around five." Reed replies.

The blonde sighs dramatically. "This is going to be hell..."

Five days later, after some careful planning, the expedition is ready. The shuttle has been positioned on the planet in a safe, isolated location. Johnny is beyond excited to finally leave the shuttle and do something thrilling. However, when he reaches the airlock, his excitement quickly turns to disappointment.

"Wait! Why can't I come!?"

Reed, Susan, and Ben exchange glances, and Susan steps closer. "We found your pyromantic abilities too risky to be involved on a planet so densely covered with plants."

"You're also acting like a child." Ben blurts, earning a frown from Susan, while Johnny just looks hurt.

"Ben!" Susan spat his name.

"What? It's true." Ben adds defensively.

Reed ignores Ben and turns to his assistant before looking back at Johnny. "Look, Y/N is going to stay here too and observe us. You can help out from here."

Johnny immediately looks offended. "I'm being treated like I'm on the same level as some... assistant?" Though he's clearly pissed, he glances at Y/N, softening slightly. "No offense."

"None taken." Y/N responds.

"Johnny, this isn't just best for the group—it's best for you as well." Reed reminds him.

As he and Ben begin changing into their suits, Susan places a hand on her brother's shoulder—but he pulls away and storms off. Feeling a little guilty, she turns to Y/N.
