"God, I cannot believe Alexis would try to cross me like that!" Quinn growled, fist clenched at her sides as she stomped down the hallway. She took a quick glance over her shoulder as she turned  the corner, continuing to march off as she casted an angry look at Santana. "I swear that bitch better prepare for me to rain down a- Ooft!"

Suddenly, Quinn felt herself hitting something at full speed, falling to the floor in the middle of the hallway. She braced herself on a Twilight book and kicked an Edgar Allen Poe book away from her as she landed her knee on top of it along with a few stray papers, head flying up to glare at the body she had just ran into.

"What are you blind, Lesbo?" Quinn spat, gritting her teeth as Kailani Hummel looked up from where she had fallen with wide blue eyes. She paused, looking between them for a moment, before pushing the unfamiliar flutter in her chest away as she stood up and brushed herself off. "Are your glasses not enough for you? Do you need a freaking cane? Maybe your bows are keeping your legs from working correctly?! Did you even learn to walk in preschool or did they just tie a bow on you and say have fun in high school?!"

Kailani's hands shook as she grabbed the books beside her from the floor, scrambling to pick up any papers she could see, standing up and quickly scanning over Quinn in search of any injuries.

"Are you alright? I'm so sorry, love." Kailani said, holding her books to her chest and reaching over to peel one of her sticky notes off of the girl's forearm with a sly smile, as Quinn's movements stalled and her eyes watched the shorter girl. "If you're hurt, I can walk you to the nurse's station. I'm so sorry. I-I should have watched where I was going. Completely m-my fault.

Quinn gulped as their eyes met again, the hallway's obnoxious sounds muffling for a moment as her brain seemed to ignite a fire of serotonin, pumping it straight through her veins. It was unnerving. Terrifying even. The way her anger slipped away from her as she got lost in a sea of blue greenish silver, struggling to swim out as her breath hitched.

"Are you okay?" Kailani asked again, and this time, Quinn snapped out of her trace, pulling her eyes down to look over her uniform. "I'm really sor-"

"I don't have time for your meaningless apologies, Dory." Quinn spat, scoffing as if she was disgusted, aggressively fixing her uniform.

She looked up and clenched her jaw, pushing the uncomfortable feeling that rose in her chest when a flicker of hurt flashed in Kailani's eyes. She stepped forward towards her, using the two to four inches she had on the younger girl to tower over her, eyes locking together once again.
