"Five, six, seven, eight..."
Quinn hardly remembered how to hate on the younger versions of her friends even after a month of trying to get back into character with her bitchy, cold, sophomore self. Her focus had shifted away from destroying the glee club, and instead under the watchful eye of Santana, Brittany, and Coach Sylvester, was secretly protecting the bowtie teen a few feet away beside their twin brother.
She continued to take little glances towards them as they avoided her boyfriend's large feet stomping around beside Kailani's perfectly groomed shoes, finding her scowl fading every so often when Kailani would flash a smile towards one of their friends.
"Step and step...step and step...and turn it around. Down and up and hit, hit, down, hit..."
There were a few things Quinn couldn't resist the urge to change. Some major events, obviously, but also little things that made her feel a little sick to her stomach as she thought about how everything developed over time.
She had already come out as pansexual in private to Santana and Brittany — secretly hoping it would give them a little encouragement and support later on down the line — and admitted to thinking she could possibly be pregnant. There was a brief discussion on storks and how Quinn needed to check her roofs, but both girls seemed to be relatively supportive and promised not to say anything as genuinely as they could be.
Though she knew Santana would take her down in a second if it meant getting on top and Brittany slipped up frequently, so she didn't expect too much.
Which was why she had already had a tearful conversation with Coach Sylvester about how guilty she felt on the subject of bring pregnant in hopes she wouldn't get kicked off the cheer squad this time around.
Thankfully, she hadn't yet.
Quinn did not miss pregnancy symptoms and there was no doubt in her mind after this that she would let Kailani carry as many children as she wanted too — putting her health first obviously — because she was not about to do this crap three times in a row.
"Can we stop, please?" Rachel suddenly spoke up, pulling Quinn from her thoughts as she quickly tried to pull her eyes away from Kailani before Santana could send her another suspicious look.
"You don't have to ask me every time for permission to go to the bathroom, Rachel." Mr. Schuester chuckled, as the jewish girl frowned. "You can just go."
"It's not my bladder." Rachel shook her head, as Quinn internally winced at the memory of how much hurt she was about to cause Mr. Schuester. "It's the choreography."
