Reese winced as everything in Brooke's locker was thrown to the floor after Cheerios practice in a desprate panic by the younger latina, digging through the metal rectangle as if she had dropped her own heart inside.
Which, unfortunately, was exactly what Reese and Juniper were witnessing as Brooke slowly threw herself into a panic attack over her missing accessory.
"Take a deep breath." Juniper gently directed her best friend, placing a soft hand on her shoulder, only for it to be shrugged off.
"It's gone. My stuff is gone! How can I take a deep breath?" Brooke asked, scoffing. She turned and grabbed a pair of her Nike pants, checking the pockets and shaking the article of clothing out frantically.
"Brooke, we'll find it." Reese tried to reassure the sixteen year old, picking up a pair of pants and checking every little fold and pocket she could. "Are you sure you took it off before practice?"
"Yes! I-I took it off and put it in heree!" Brooke let out a frustrated whine, slamming her now empty locker room, catching the attention of the Cheerios captain as she walked by.
"What's wrong with you, Spazz?" Santana asked, a small smirk forming when all three teenagers froze and looked in her direction. She waved to the mess across the floor, looking straight to Brooke. "Hm? What's going on?"
"We just uh, we, uh..." Brooke opened and closed her mouth a few times, unsure of what to say considering it was Santana's bracelet she had lost. "I lost something."
"What did you lose?"
"Just a bracelet." Reese jumped in, sensing Brooke's nervousness – something she understood from avoiding talking too much to Kailani or Quinn. "It's silver. Have you seen anything like that?"
"Nope." Santana replied, popping to P, stuffing her hands in the pockets of her Cheerios letterman and watching Brooke shake out her backpack onto the floor with a panicked look in her brown eyes. "I'll uh...I'll watch for it."
"Thank you. We appreciate it." Juniper sent Santana a polite smile, one that earned a linguiring suspisious look from the latina, before she forced a smile and nodded, turning and walking away down the aisle.
"Clean up your mess!" Santana called towards the teenagers as she rounded the corner, leaving them to resume their search.
"We'll find it." Reese sighed, as Brooke glanced towards where Santana disappeared, turning back to the older blonde with tears forming in her eyes. "We will. I promise. It's going to be okay."
