The week began with the six original glee club members all dancing around and giving the rest of the club a peek into their embarrassing Sit Down You're Rocking The Boat performance they had done during the first week of rehearsals over three years ago.
The choir room's air was thick, tension holding, even through the laughter the group had as they watched the six teenagers dance around and prepare for the final week of school here at Mckinley High for their seniors.
"That was the most ghetto number I have ever seen." Santana teased, as soon as the group finished, laughing at what had just been shown to them.
"Did you miss Push It and the one where we wore all the wigs for the deaf kids?" Alisha asked, still giggling at her best friend's jazz hands.
"Still ghetto!"
"Then just call me George Jefferson, because we went from the ghetto to the penthouse." Artie announced, as cheers erupted around the room. "National champs, baby!"
Kailani gilded back towards where Quinn was sitting on the piano bench in front of Santana and Brittany, falling into her lap and wrapping her arms around her neck, kicking her feet up out of Sonnet's way below the bench.
"This week's assignment is easy." Mr. Schuester began, sadly writing his last words across the whiteboard for the week for his seniors. "Graduation is just a few days away. There's nothing left to prepare for. Our work here is done, so there's only one thing left to do: say goodbye. Underclassmen, pick some songs to say goodbye to the seniors; seniors, pick a song to say goodbye to us."
Alisha leaned into Mercedes and wrapped her arms around her arm, taking a deep breath as the weight of the week loomed over her shoulders.
"A part of me wants to lock these doors and stay in here with everyone forever." Mercedes admitted, as a few nodded in agreement. She shared a soft smile with Alisha, sighing as she kissed her lips softly and leaned their heads together.
"We can use the wastebasket for the toilet, and then we could eat Blaze for the food, since he's been here the shortest, so we know her the least." Brittany offered, as Blaze frowned.
"I've been here over a year!" The strawberry blonde boy scoffed, shaking his curls as the room laughed and reassured him quickly that they remembered him.
As Mr. Schuester picked up the guitar and sat down on a stool, looking over his seniors with a soft smile.
"I really hope you're about to rap." Quinn chuckled, holding Kailani's waist as she leaned tiredly into her fiance's waist, as the brunette giggled.
