Kailani walked past Finn's new room towards the closet down the hall in search of her mother's old records, pausing and back pedalling when she noticed the boy on his knees in front of his bed.

"Please let us win our first football game." She heard Finn whisper, as she poked her head in the doorway and frowned at the sight of a sandwich on his bed. "It would mean so much to Kailani, and I think you kind of owe it to her. I mean, you did sort of screw her up in the gender area. And in return, Cheesy Lord, I'll make sure we honor you this week in Glee Club."

Kailani blinked a few times, trying to take in the information she had just heard from her most likely to be step brother. She wasn't one to judge other's opinions on religion, but she herself didn't believe that God was the holder of all the world's creations.

She wasn't against believing. Not at all. She wasn't an atheist, or as hardcore of a hater as her brother, but she wasn't a full blown religious obsessor like she had come to know Judy Fabray was.

Though Quinn and Kailani had never discussed their religious views, the younger of the two chose to avoid the subject, not wanting to give Quinn a reason to dislike her. She truely believed in the importance of recognition and respect for all religions and their lack of or present Gods, but she herself didn't believe in it.

How do you believe in a God that ignored your every call for help as a child?

Pray for your mother.

Dies.

Pray for your grandfather.

Dies.

Pray for help understanding yourself.

Never happens.

Either 'God' doesn't like me or he doesn't like to answer calls.

Kailani was respectful of her father's beliefs, never once putting him off about it. She knew that he valued their more religious traditions because that's how he was raised and her mother was raised the same, but attending church wasn't something that Kailani felt comfortable doing.

She believed in life after death on the reincarnation side. She believed that she would die and become a member of the wind, the waves, the dirt, the sun, and much more, though Kurt thought she was insane for believing something like that, it made sense to Kailani.

She wanted something to believe in that brought her comfort, so she stuck with her nature rounded beliefs. Crystals, auras, natural earthed magic, spirits, nature, science...
