A/N: Taking attendance for Disco Week! Who's here?
One of the many best and worst episodes in my opinion. 😂

Kailani fixed her snapback, smiling at her reflection in her locker's mirror as she looked over her more masculine clothing for the day, having finally gotten the chance to have Kurt explore her closet with her and sorta through what she had apparently stolen from Quinn -- she had wondered why there were so many bigger clothing choices in her closet. It felt amazing to finally be able to not worry about how she dressed and have a sense of pride in who she was for once.
Though it obviously came with a price considering the memories she was slowly getting back were not as helpful as they could.
"Look, I'm thrilled you got into Defiance College and Cleveland State, but what about NYU?" Kurt asked, closing his locker and looking towards Mercedes, who was fixing Alisha's eyeliner between the twin's lockers.
"Like New York is good enough for Mercedes Jones." Alisha scoffed, pouting a bit when Mercedes grabbed her face a little tighter, silently urging her to stay still. "I'm just saying. You're a star and Hollywood is where it's at."
"I have to agree." Mercedes shrugged. "I just...I don't think Broadway is my style."
"I think I'm going to go to Columbia." Kailani informed the group, closing her locker and smiling excitedly towards her friends, slightly confused by Mercedes and Alisha's quick exchange of looks. "I could swim and work on my english degree and-"
"You're a singer." Alisha spun around and wagged a finger at her best friend. "A singer. Songwriter. Go to NYADA with Kurt and Berry and stop shorting yourself, Babe."
"But Columbia has an amazing program for poets and stage-writers and-"
"And no." Alisha interrupted her again, as Mercedes sighed, genuinely feeling bad for their memory wiped friend in this important time of their lives. "You were going to choose NYADA before the accident, Kai. I'm telling you. Choose NYADA. It's closer to Quinn too!"
"Grand Central is not far from Columbia either? I could always just jump on the train if I needed." Kailani pouted, rolling her eyes when Alisha interrupted again.
"No. You're not allowed to go there ever. Grand Central is for poor people. Don't ever ride there. Seriously. I'll pay for you to take a bus."
"But isn't a bu-
"Don't use Grand Central. I heard it has huge rats and-and uh, stabbings. Lots of stabbings...and bugs. Big bugs." Mercedes added, nodding her head in agreement to her girlfriend's confusing comment.
