Another week came around and, like always, Mckinley had decided that there wasn't enough drama involving the lives of their many students, so the school newspaper was reinstated. And as Becky Jackson handed out the first issue of gossip, all hell was breaking loose.
"What the hell is this? What tiny former swimmer is having a secret moonlight motel rendezvous with a big-lipped blondie?" Quinn read outloud, rushing into the choir room and shoving the school's reconstituted newspaper into Sam's face.
"Where does it say that?" Sam asked, frowning, as Kailani looked up in confusion from where she was messing with Blaze's curls.
"Right here!" Quinn spat angerily, glaring at the boy. "Right on the front page of the school newspaper!"
Kailani quickly stood up and put herself between the two, sending Quinn a disapproving look. "Quinn calm down, please. You don't seriously believe this, do you? It's just a newspaper." She attempted to calm her girlfriend, leaning over to look at the newspaper when Sam sent her a worried look. "May I see, Sam?"
"Well, why shouldn't I?" Quinn asked, glaring at the the blonde football player. "Why wouldn't he come after you again? He had no issue before Santana left him for Karofsky!"
"It's just gossip, Quinn. It's okay. None of this information has anything backing it. Besides, we are as shocked as you are to even being reading such information. This isn't a trust source to believe in, babe." Kailani tried to reassure her girlfriend, shaking her head as she read the newspaper.
"This is your fault!" Santana growled, busting through the doors and rushing into the choir room with a newspaper in hand straight for Brittany. "You told everyone that I played for another team on your ridiculous cheese show!"
"Is she lying?" Madison whispered to Blaze, who subtly shook his head, trying not to be loud, but Alisha snorted loudly and shrugged.
"It's not exactly a surprise."
"Wait. Are you mad?" Brittany asked, confused. "You do play for another team. You were on the Cheerios, and now you're only in the New Directions."
"Oh, dear." Blaze let his head fall into his hands. "What is this world coming too?"
"And you couldn't have thought of any other way to say that?" Santana groaned, throwing her hands in the air.
"Oh, wait! What the hell?" Alisha snatched the newspaper out of Artie's hands and gasped as she spun around to look at Madison. "What blonde swim captain is rumored to be running with Mr. Drug-lugger for Prom court?"
