"I don't like this at all."

"What else are we supposed to do?" Captain Alvin asked, tapping his foot impatiently as he stood beside Agent Monroe and watched Quinn Fabray roll her fingernails across the table top, waiting for Hunter to arrive with Agent Bennett. "He knows something and he's refusing. We have a short clock and she's willing to help."

"Mrs. Fabray is not anywhere close to being stable enough to handle Mr. Ryan's games. Even I am having a hard time understanding the reasoning behind some of his behavior. He's a loose cannon." Hallie argued, shaking her head disapprovingly. "She's missing four kids and is still adjusting to being sober."

"Do you have any other ideas, Agent?" George turned towards Hallie and motioned to the window. "Because by all means, give it a shot. We are running out the clock. It's been well over 48 hours and the longer we go with this amount of kids, the more gruesome of an outcome we could possibly be looking at."

Hallie's attention turned fully towards the window as the door of the interrogation room opened and Clay dragged in a handcuffed Hunter. Instantly, she could see the two adults tensing at the sight of each other, eyes narrowing.

"I hope you're right." Hallie mumbled, not enjoying the possible outcome of putting two suspects that hated one another together alone in the slightest.
