Sitting at a table in the corner of Lancelot Diner in the depths of Manhattan, New York, a man with a chiseled jaw ran his fingers over his salt and peppered facial hair and continued to watch a specific waiter move around the front room with a soft hum.

"You're staring at her." The blonde woman across from him pointed out, sipping her coffee and looking over her partner with a soft chuckle. "And you call me obvious, Dan."

Daniel rolled his eyes, turning his attention back to the food in front of him with a weak half shrug. He tried not to let the woman across from him notice his wandering eyes between the short curly haired waiter and the meal in front of him, but as she always had, Faye noticed it quickly.

"We aren't looking for her. She's caught you staring multiple times. Cut it out and stop being creepy." Faye scolded Daniel once again, turning her head enough to look towards the young child in the booth a few tables away from them. She turned her attention back towards the man and sent him a pointed look. "We're looking for her mother. Focus. She wouldn't go this long without some form of contact to her kids."

"She knows something. She's nervous. She must have heard from them or knows their plan. I don't trust these newcomers one bit. They're all playing a dangerous game and messing with ours." Daniel stated, watching Vaughn Fabray as she took multiple protective looks towards the child in the corner on her way towards a table with a tray of food.

"We don't know that. She has Ezra here. We've seen how she is," Faye scoffed, nodding her head to the brown haired and blue eyed boy in the corner of the diner at the same time as Vaughn took another look towards her son to ensure he was still coloring in the spot she had placed him. "She might be seventeen, but she looks like a good Mom. We should be focusing on their mother. Maybe even the other Vaughn or August. They're more likely to cause issues. They're all impulsive. Maybe talking to the younger Vaughn in 2012 will help us understand. She'd spill anything she over heard for some candy."

Daniel shook his hand and moved his wrist towards his face, looking at the digital time and date on his watch. He hummed, looking towards Ezra and then to Vaughn.

"Either way, there can only be one." He declared, eyes following the teenager again. "One child. One set of siblings. One death. One timeline. They've done major damage and it's going to cause another unexpected death. How many are they willing to lose before giving up? Giving up one person is better than four."

Faye sighed, turning her head and looking towards Ezra when Vaughn drifted over to check on the almost three year old sitting in the booth. Her eyes scanned the little brunette boy and watched his mother's eyes flicker around, clearly on edge about something as she brushed his hair back and kissed his forehead.
