The black SUV's door slammed shut behind Agent Hallie Monroe as she brushed the snow off her shoulders and quickly ducked under the police tape that had been lined up around a large  homey looking renovated firehouse, a crowd already forming on the street between civilians and reporters.

"Quite the crowd already." Hallie pointed out, stopping beside a man in a slick black suit waiting for her on the sidewalk, eyes examining the people taking photos and videotaping what they could.

"You ever heard of Kailani Hummel, Kid?" Clay Bennett asked, folding his arms over his chest, eyes flickering among the reports with an annoyed pull of his brows. "Alisha and Mercedes Jones? Santana L.P?"

"Who hasn't?" Hallie turned her head and arched a brow, turning her body a moment later when the man chuckled. "Don't tell me the case is reopened. I would have come a little more prepared."

"Might be looking at it in the near future."

"Elaborate for me."

"We're looking at six missing kids and a family so intertwined...We could be unraveling this mess for months. Walk with me." Clay stepped off down the sidewalk past the police cars they had placed outside, snow crunching loudly under each heavy step of his boots as they moved towards the large home. "I know you do things differently than I do, but I've been in here with the family for an hour and it's to the point officers are having to keep them separate. I can't see what you can. We're hoping to move them to the station."

"What's the timeline we're looking at?" Hallie asked, nodding her head as they slowed in front of the station house, eyes looking over the wheelchair tracks on the ramp. "Grandparents involved?"
