"Hey, Enby." Puck ruffled Kailani's hair as he passed on his way out of the choir room with a teasing smile. "Have fun with Berry."

"Mhm, Bye Puck...How's the songwriting going?" Kailani asked Rachel once the boy had walked out of the door. She walked further into the choir room to meet up with Rachel, having received a message requesting her presence. She chuckled as Rachel looked up with a smile. "You look enthusiastic. That good?"

"Hey! Yes, amazing!" Rachel gushed, standing up from the piano bench as Kailani set down her purple leather journal on the shiny top of the large instrument. "I might have a really big hit, which is why I wanted you to come by. I want your opinion. I always see you writing and figured you could help me out."

"I'm flattered. I'd love to hear, Rae." Kailani smiled, as Rachel set down her pink journal. She tapped her own lightly with her finger and chuckled. "I brought mine in case you wanted to look at some of what I've written. I haven't sung any of them, but don't steal them and you can take a look."

"Perfect. Thank you!" Rachel stepped forward and hugged Kailani tightly, giggling when the other girl tilted them back and forth for a moment, both stepping back. "I really do appreciate you coming by. I know between the whole love triangle with Sam and Quinn-"

"Not a love triangle. I love Quinn." Kailani added, shrugging.

"-and Quinn's horrible mood towards everyone lately and trying to make sure she doesn't kill everyone, you're pretty busy and stressed, but I really do appreciate your help, Kailani."

Kailani smiled, sighing softly. Sam and Quinn had been at each other's throats and no matter how many times she made it clear she wasn't going to risk her relationship, it was difficult when the boy was her partner for a major part of their third hour class grades.

On top of that, Quinn's father had the audacity to filed for a custody battle against Judy claiming he could 'fix' Quinn from her 'lesbian ways' and was trying to appeal to the courts that Judy Fabray wasn't able to properly care for Quinn.

Ohio sucked and actually allowed the case to go futher, so Quinn's been on edge and snappy with everyone. She hated her father and wanted nothing to do with him, but there was a large chance she would have to testify to help her mother's case much like Frannie had offered to do. The last thing Quinn needed was to be shipped off to some boarding school across the sea to deal with her lesbianism.
