"Something is seriously wrong!" Reese whispered loudly to the group of teenagers as she slipped into a chair at the table they had agreed to meet at in the library. "Kailani got suspended. Suspended!"

"I know. I heard." Riley sighed, rubbing her head. "I don't remember hearing about that."

"How do we know it didn't happen?" Ambrose asked, shrugging. "We really don't know much besides what we could gather in pictures and stories. Mercedes and Alisha both left the New Directions and I have seen pictures of them with the Troubletones in my Mom's photo albums, so?"

"I don't remember anything about Quinn being a skank, but that fits her personality." Vaughn scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"She's not anymore though, but Kailani being suspended does make it seem a little...different?" Juniper jumped to Quinn's defense, as Vaughn shot her twin a look, always hating when she defended their mother for literally no reason.

"It was only for the day? That's a half day if anything." Vaughn offered, shrugging. "I've had worse suspensions."

"We know." The entire group replied, rolling their eyes and sending the freshman a quick look before returning back to the conversation.

"Both show choirs are going to need members." Brooke reminded them, shrugging. "This is our chance to blend."

"But if we join the New Directions, they won't have a reason to bring back Sam?" Juniper reminded them, looking around as Reese and Riley both shared a look.

"I mean..."

"Well..."

"You can't do that to him!" Vaughn scoffed, glaring at her older sisters.

Juniper nodded in agreement, looking up from her homework and shrugging. "I happen to like Sam." She said, as Riley instantaneously groaned.

"He lost you both at the fair!" Riley whispered loudly, rolling her eyes and pinching the bridge of her nose. "You were gone for eight hours. Eight hours!"

"The best fucking eight hours of our entire lives." Vaughn smirked.

"Some nice guy gave me a stuffie." Juniper shrugged, thinking back to her little dinosaur plushie.

"You might have been too young to remember this, but Momma tried to kill him." Reese said, as Ambrose nodded in agreement.

"Again." Ambrose chuckled, smirking. "Ma said it was funnier in a chair."
