Day out and meeting new people

Hermione's POV

After visiting Teddy and Andromeda time flew by and before Y/N or I knew it our wedding was only two week away. Today we were going to take Claire to Diagon Alley to get her a dress for our wedding and I knew how much it meant to Y/N to have her there. The orphanage had been fully repaired by Y/N and I and he had gotten new beds and anything the children needed which made me smile knowing that when the time was right what a great dad he would be to our kids. I rolled over in our bed to look at the man who would soon be my husband. I looked at the bottom of our bed to see Bella, Crookshanks, Sniffles and Diablo curled up at the base. When we brought Diablo home we thought that Bella would be Jealous but surprisingly she took to him right away acting as a sister would showing him around the house. Crookshanks took more convincing especially when he tried to eat Diablo's food and regrated it as Diablo showed off his true form and multiple of him appeared causing Crookshanks to run from the room. Sniffles had no problem and a couple days after we found him and Diablo curled up on the sofa together which made us laugh. I softly placed a kiss on Y/N's cheek as he groaned and woke up. He slowly opened his eyes to look at me.

"Morning my love." I said softly as I brushed some hair out of my way.

"Morning babe." He said with a yawn before waving his hand and my hair moved out of my eyes.

We sat up and went to shower before making our way downstairs to see Newt and Tina putting on some tea.

"Morning you two tea?" Newt asked.

"Yes please Newt." I replied with a smile.

We sat down and Newt handed out our teas as we slowly sipped at them we discussed about going to Diagon Alley with Claire today.

"So what are you two up to today?" Tina asked.

"We are taking Claire to Diagon Alley to get her a dress for the wedding." I replied.

"Oh she will enjoy that she never went to Diagon Alley with you did she Y/N?" Tina asked.

"No she didn't Grandma she was always busy looking after the other children." Y/N said as he looked down at his watch. "Actually we need to get moving love we are supposed to meet Claire soon."

We stood up and cleared our cups away and headed to the door before saying bye to Newt and Tina and apparated to the orphanage. We knocked on the door and it was answered by Anne.

"Hey Anne is Claire ready?" Y/N asked.

"Yep just a few minutes." She said as she led us in. "Y/N Claire told me that you are the new owner of the building. We can't thank you enough for keeping this place going."

"Oh it was no problem I mean I could not let this place go if I could do something about it." I said with a smile before we saw Claire come down the stairs ready to head out.

"Hi Y/N, Hermione now Anne remember that we have a couple coming to talk to angelica this afternoon and also I need you to look at what supplies we will need for the next week and compile....."

"Yes, Yes I know Claire." Anne said with a laugh. "Don't stress and enjoy your day out now you two get her out of here before she changes her mind."

We both laughed as we led Claire out and down the road. We thought it best to get a taxi rather than apparition and soon we managed to get one and head into London. Throughout the ride Claire was telling us about how the rate of children being adopted had increased since Y/N had taken over the building and provided everything that they needed which made Y/N happy. We soon arrived outside the leaky cauldron and Claire wanted to pay.

"No Claire your money today is worthless put it away I am paying." Y/N said as he paid the taxi driver before we exited the taxi and walked into the leaky cauldron and out the back to the wall that would allow us into Diagon Alley.
