The Wand weighing Ceremony

Y/N's POV

The day of the wand weighing had arrived, and Ron was still being a massive git about the whole thing. He still did not believe that Harry or I had not put our names into the Goblet of Fire. As I entered the Great Hall for breakfast I was meet with a mixtures of cheers and boos. The Hufflepuffs were sure that Harry and I had entered only to steal Cedric's thunder which was not true. I sat down next to Hermione and just put my head in my hands as Harry joined us for breakfast.

"Hey you alright?" Hermione asked me softly.

"I am sick and tired of everyone assuming that I put my name in that damn Goblet." I replied.

"I think you should both write to Sirius he would want to know about this." Hermione said as she handed us some quills and parchment.

Harry had received a reply from Sirius a few days ago and was told to not use Hedwig again. As we made to leave we were stopped by Delilah and her sister Amelia.

"Hey Y/N, Harry we just want you to know we don't think you put your names in the Goblet of Fire your reactions were enough to go by and most of the Ravenclaws don't think so either." Delilah said with a smile.

"Thank you Delilah I just wish my best friend would think the same." Harry said.

"What Ron does not believe you?" Amelia asked.

"No he does not, and it is really annoying both Y/N and I." Harry said.

Delilah looked over at Ron with a look of anger on her face as he seemed to ignore the five of us.

"I could talk to him if you want." Delilah said.

"No I wouldn't bother it will just create more problems." I said.

"Listen sorry we are going to send a letter but will see you later." Hermione said as the three of us left. Once at the owlery Harry started to write the letter to Sirius.

Dear Sirius

You told Y/N and I to keep you posted on what's happening at Hogwarts, so here goes- I don't know if you've heard, but the Triwizard Tournament is happening this year and on Saturday night Y/N and I got picked as champions. I don't know who put our names in the Goblet of Fire, because we most certainly didn't. The other Hogwarts champion is Cedric Diggory from Hufflepuff

As we sent the letter off we left the owlery and on our way down we were stopped by the two beauxbaton girls who had stopped me in the courtyard.

"Oh for god's sake as if this day can't get any worse." I said under my breath.

"Hello Y/N." Danielle said.

"Hello Y/N." Renee said as well.

"Ah you must be Harry Potter." They said as they shook Harry's hand.

"So Y/N would you like to meet up sometime maybe you can show us around Hogwarts?" Danielle asked.

"Actually I—" before I could finish Hermione had taken my hand in hers and pulled me away with Harry following up behind us. Once we were out of earshot of them I took a deep breath and sighed.

"Thank you Hermione you really saved me back there." I said but I noticed the scowl on her face.

"Harry do you mind giving me and Hermione a couple of minutes alone?"

"Sure no problem, I'll see you in the Hall."

As I watched Harry leave I turned to Hermione.

"Mione there is no need to be Jealous." I said as I took her hand in mine.
