Wedding Day

Y/N's POV

I awoke on the morning of my wedding day and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. Hermione had spent the night at her home as she wanted to surprise me at the wedding it felt odd not waking up to Hermione and as I lay in bed thinking of the day ahead I felt someone nudge my hand and looked to see Bella nudging her head against my hand.

"Hi Bella today is the day isn't it girl hmm..." I said picking her up and tickling her stomach which she purred at.

"when's mummy back?" I heard her ask in her head.

"soon Bella we are getting married today."

I felt movement as Diablo and Sniffles joined us and I petted them before I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in."

Grandad poked his head around the door.

"Morning Y/N are you ready for today?"

"To be honest i am really nervous."

Grandad smiled as he let himself into the room and sat at the base of my bed stroking Diablo as he did.

"I remember when I married Tina I was just like your dad was but the feeling after I married her I would not change it for the world and I know your dad was the same with Maria. Anyway you have nothing to worry about I mean helping to stop you-know-who so many times stopping a Basilisk stopping death eaters."

"But this is different." I said.

"It is but you will be fine now come on you need to get up and get ready." Grandad said as he left the room

I got out of bed and took a shower before heading back to my room to look over at the suit that I had hanging from my wardrobe. I smiled as I lifted the sleeve of it before letting it fall back to it's original position. I started to pack and made sure that my suit was away carefully before making my way downstairs to see Grandad making sure his case was secure and Grandma drinking her tea.

"Good morning Y/N." Grandma said as she stood up and hugged me. "how are you feeling excited?"

"That and nervous."

"You sound so much like your Dad." She said with a light chuckle.

Soon we were ready and the three of us apparated to the church where we would be getting married the rows had been decorated with painted versions of panthers for the male side and otters for the female said as they represented our patronuses. The alter had also been decorated with flowers and lights that Hermione had chosen and I could not help but smile. I made my way to a room and changed into my suit before I heard a knock to see Harry standing in a suit of his own with Ginny In her bridesmaid dress.

"Looking good mate not long now." He said as I started pacing the room

"Harry what if I am no good at being a husban1d being a boyfriend and a fiancé is one thing but being a husband and....."

"Ginny babe can you go and get either Newt or Tina I think Y/N needs them right now." Harry said as Ginny gave him a kiss on the cheek and left to find grandma or grandad.

"Y/N what is wrong with you?" Harry asked. "You have done a hell of a lot more dangerous things than marry Hermione pull yourself together."

"That is not helping him." I heard Grandma's voice and looked to see her coming over to me.

"Y/N take a seat." She said as I did. "Harry can you go and help Newt? He has some things to add to the ceremony and Ron is not really helping him that much."

"Sure Tina."

After Harry left Grandma sat next to me and hugged me.

"So like your dad." She said
