Hermione's Birthday and Hogsmeade Date

Hermione's POV

I awoke with a smile as today was September the 19th my birthday. I got up and changed and made my way down to the common room I saw Harry and Ron sitting in the chairs which was unusual they normally were not awake at this time.

"Morning Hermione Happy Birthday." Harry said to me.

"Yeah Morning Hermione Happy Birthday." Ron said.

"Thank you have either of you seen Y/N?" I asked.

"Yes we have actually and that's the reason Ron and I are here." Harry said with a smile.

"What do you mean?" I asked worryingly.

"You need to wear this though." Harry said handing me a blindfold.

I looked at it confusingly before I put it on. I felt myself being led out of the common room and around the castle until we stopped.

"Okay Hermione you can take it off now." Harry said.

"SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERMIONE!" I looked around shocked at the classroom we were in. It was decorated with balloons, Ribbon swirls and paper chandeliers and had a big banner in the middle reading Happy Birthday Hermione. I looked at the people around to see Ginny, Fred, George, The girls from my dorm, Harry and Ron of course, Delilah, Neville, Seamus, Dean and the rest of the Quidditch team. I could not help but smile with tears in my eyes it was all amazing.

"How? When? -" I started.

"Y/N, he's been working on this for the last week he organised it all himself luckily Dumbledore let him use this classroom." Harry said.

I could not believe it with everything he had going on he still took the time to plan something amazing for my birthday.

"Happy Birthday Hermione." I heard.

I turned to see Y/N standing there as I rushed towards him and engulfed him with the hardest hug I could.

"Y/N this is amazing I don't deserve this." I said as tears ran down my face from happiness.

"Don't be silly Hermione of course you do." Y/N said as he hugged me back.

"Anyway, I think it's time for some presents." Y/N said as I looked at the table that had gifts on them next to a beautiful birthday cake.

I sat down in one of the chairs as people started to hand me gifts. Ginny had gotten me a really nice scarf in the Gryffindor colours, Fred and George some prank items which I was sure I would not use. Ron had gotten me some books, Harry had gotten me some treats and toys for Crookshanks, Delilah had gotten me a set of new quills. I received cards and many sweets as well from the rest.

"Hermione I will be right back I just need to go get your gift." Y/N said as he left the classroom. A moment later he came back with a large box.

"Some of these were hard to find but I managed." He said as he handed me the box.

I opened the box as a gasp escaped my mouth I could not believe what he had got me. Inside was a signed copy of fantastic beast and where to find them by Newt Scamander along with a set of novels I had wanted to read but could not find, some new quills, parchment and ink some wizarding sweets and a rose in a glass.

"I've charmed that so it will never die." Y/N said as I looked up at him with tears it was so thoughtful.

"Oh, and one more thing." He said as he handed me a small box.

I opened it to reveal a charm that had a pair of otters on it I looked at him with a smile on my face.

"How did you know my favourite animal was an otter?" I asked as he attached it to the bracelet he got me in our first year.
