They think a book is just words on a page; a small little tale to waste a few hours on.
But to me, a book is so much more than that; it's a whole fictional world that I get to escape to when this one is crashing down-- a whole bunch of fictional people who would lend a hand when I fall, give a shoulder when I'm down; while others can't.
It's not just a book, it's a whole new life that they'll never understand-- and never experience.
