I wash my face before heading downstairs. It was Sunday so my dad is making me go with him to church. Luckily no kids from school go to church very often.
I get on my nice (and gross) man clothes.
"Are you ready, son?"
"Yes, Dad."

The preacher at church starts his usual speech. This time it's like he knew I was questioning myself.
"God made you all in his image. You all are born into your bodies to serve a purpose. Those who try to defy their own bodies are those who commit sin."
Guess he really decided to make coming out harder for me. My dad was eating this up.
For a while these speeches made me hate myself for thinking the way I do, but now they just kinda annoy me. I've accepted that I may be unfixable. Might as well live happily if I'm maybe gonna burn in hell someday. I decided I want to live in ways that give me joy. Being a girl is just one part of that.

On the drive back my dad lectures me on how it's important that I start embracing my masculinity. He really has no idea.

On Monday I wake up early so that I can give my makeup some extra love. After that dream I had, I can't stop thinking about Kenny. I give him his jacket back today, and I want to look good while I do it.
"I'm heading out!" I yell to my parents before leaving the house. It's really sunny today. The cool breeze blowing through my hair feels nice. As much as I love my wig, it still gets unbearably hot.

Kenny is standing in front of the school when I get there, and Karen is next to him.
"Marjorine! Good morning!"
She runs up and hugs me. She really is just like a little sister. I would do anything to have a little sister like her.
"Hey, Mar. How are you feeling?" Kenny approaches as I hug Karen.
"Good, thanks for the jacket, you probably saved me from getting a cold."
"Good, that was the point." He takes his jacket back and ties it around his waist. It's too warm to wear a big jacket like that.
"Marjorine? Will you be coming over again soon?"
"Maybe, I'll have to check with your brother."
She turns to Kenny and gives him puppy-dog eyes.
"She can come over whenever she wants. As long as you aren't bothering her too much."
"Good!" Karen smiles at me.
Eric Cartman comes over. "Look at the happy mom and dad with the happy baby."
Kenny rolls his eyes. "That's my sister. We aren't married and we don't have a kid."
"Not yet."
"Whatever."
Eric turns to me and grabs my arm. "I need to talk to Marjorine for a minute if you'll excuse me."
He starts to drag me away but Kenny grabs my other arm. "Shouldn't you ask her if she wants to go with you first?"
They both look at me, this is too much pressure. "I'm okay, Kenny. You can let go. And you too, Eric, you can let go of my arm, I'll follow you."
Eric leads me to a corner outside the school. There are no security cameras here. What is he planning?
