Karen and I are different sizes since I'm taller than her. She goes to the small section and I go to the mediums.
I find a small blue sparkly dress in my size, it looks really cute so I grab it and try it on. It's like love at first sight, I don't even need to look at the other dresses, this one is perfect. I grab a pin flower that matches my dress and add it to my cart.

Karen is taking longer than I am. She's searching through every dress with a worried look.
"Karen? Are you having trouble?"
"I am... I don't wear much black clothing but I feel like I should wear a black dress since Katie wears all black... but none of them stick out to me..."
"You shouldn't dress for her. She wears what she wants and you wear what you want, did you see any dresses that you liked a lot?"

She walks down a couple isles and pulls out a flowing green dress. It reminds me of a fairy.

She smiles and holds the dress up to her body, "it is really pretty..."
I grab the dress and turn toward the counter, "then let's get these two!"
"Okay! I'll text Kenny that we are done!"
"I'll check out then."
I buy the dresses. In total it was about 390 dollars which poked into my savings a bit but I think it's worth it for my senior prom.
Kenny picks us up and Karen hides the dresses in a bag. We all want the outfits to be a surprise when we get there.
There's still a week until prom. People are getting excited. I see a promposal almost every day. Some surprised me, some I expected. Like Clyde and Bebe are together, which everyone expected. What's new is that Tweek asked Craig to prom and he said yes. I had a feeling they were gay but I didn't want to jump to conclusions.

Prom weekend arrives. Everyone has been talking about it for so long it was starting to feel like a dream. Karen and I help each other with our makeup and hair. Kenny went to Kyles house to get ready because we wanted to surprise each other with our outfits.
Karen puts my wig in two long braids. And I tie hers back in a bun. We both put on our dresses and meet Kate outside. She's driving us.
