Ona's POV

"Korbin hurry up!" I rolled my eyes as I shouted at the bottom of the staircase. We had a home game today. Our first home game since the accident...

Blair hasn't traveled to any of the other games to support us. She hasn't gone in any stadium since the accident. She hasn't physically said it, but we all know she's still so scared about it all.

Every time I have to go out on that field she's nervous. It doesn't help that Aitana returns to play today as well. It's been weeks. We've just been playing a few consecutive away games.

"Do you think you'll come watch from the bench today?" I tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear and smiled.

"I'm not sure...you know I want to Ona and I'll be there still I-I just-."

"Hey. It's okay my love. Take your time and do what you are comfortable with. I'm with you every step of the way." I held a hand on her face which she placed her own hand over.

"I love you."

"Gross. Come on." Blake pushed past us as Korbin trailed quickly behind her.

"Ready for your first home game?" Blair really took Korbin under her wing and despite not being directly at the games she still held extra trainings with her. She sat down and taught her how she analyzes game footage. She's been really happy to mentor.

"(Excited for the game?)"

"(Yeah. I think we will have a good performance.)"

"(How is trial parenthood going for you two?)" I laughed at Aitana's name for our relationship towards Korbin. I do think she's a cool kid and I get to see a new part of Blair that I've never seen before. In a way Blair has always taken care of me, but this is different because we're doing this together.

Korbin seemed to really respect me as well which I appreciated. I'm only 25 and she's 21 so not a huge age gap, but I have a lot more experience than her.

"You're gonna play great today." Blair leaned over and kissed my forehead. We were sitting in the back seat with Korbin. Blair typically sat in the middle despite being the tallest.

"Any last minute tips I should remember before the game today?" Korbin asked her and the two went into a full conversation for the rest of the ride.

Maybe when Blair retires she'll become a head coach or team strategist. I know before Jona left during the break he would constantly converse with her about different possibilities. She sees the game differently.

"(Do me proud today.)" Blair leaned over to rest her head on my shoulder as we entered the heavy stadium crowds. Trying to drive into the lot was always chaotic.

"Good job Korbin." I pat the midfielders back as I passed by her. She had an assist and a goal today.

"I feel like I really used the method that you and Blair were teaching me the other day after practice. I could really like feel the improvement from my usual ball movement, but like I know there is still room to improve so I will continue to work-."

"Korbin you're doing good." I heard Blair's voice behind me but before I could turn around she wrapped her arms around me leaning down a bit to rest her chin on my shoulder.

"You played great today too."

"You're on the field?"

"I know...I'm hugging you for a reason."

"Don't be nervous B. Home field no one is ever going to hurt you again." I rubbed the arm wrapped around my stomach. God I loved when I felt the butterflies.
