Chapter 52: Badfellas

The scene changed to Dario who was on road in his vehicle, but he wasn't alone. Maple was inside and next to the hunter as they drove passed the Canadian border and were on their way to Toronto.

Maple: Ok our second time here in my home, so who do we have to pick up?

Dario: Some friend of Seth, all he told me he was a chef and a well renowned one in this parts of Canada.

Maple: Canadian chef eh? Well recently I have been binge watching this series called Masterchef Canada, basically about people being invited from all over Canada to compete and one becomes a masterchef.

Dario: I know Masterchef, I watched the US version featuring Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot and Joe Bastianich as judges

Maple: I heard of Ramsay, but the other two I haven't.

Dario: Ok so who are the judges from the Canada version?

Maple: Michael Bonaccini, Alvin Leung and-*gasp* CLAUDIO APRILE!

Dario then looked on the road to see Claudio Aprile on the sidewalk, he was dressed in hunting clothing and had a rifle of his own.

Dario stopped the jeep before opening the window, Claudio leaned in and spoke.

Claudio: Hi there, you're Dario Vasilov right?

Dario: Yes, you must be Seth's friend.

Claudio: Yup, Claudio Aprile, a Masterchef here in Canada.

Maple: Hi, I'm Maple and I'm like a big fan of your show Masterchef.

Claudio: Nice to meet a fan, it's really a pleasure.

Dario: Hop on in dude and let's get started.

Claudio nods and gets in the jeep on the back before the vehicle drove again.

Dario: So I heard Seth wanted me to help you find musk ox meat.

Claudio: Yeah, I'm gonna need some of it for a new restaurant I'm opening here in Toronto.

Maple: Sweet, as someone from Canada I can confirm that musk ox meat is nutritious and has a lot of protein.

Claudio: Indeed, have you tried it?

Maple: No, I'm vegetarian but I heard it's good.

Dario: At least you're not a toxic vegan eh Maple syrup~.

Maple: Oh stop it you~.

Claudio chuckled.

Claudio: You two dating?

Maple: Yeah, we're a couple after a few months.

Dario: We met when I was hunting in Canada, I got injured badly and she nursed me.

Claudio: Wow now that's a rather interesting love story. And you're from America right Dario?

Dario: Half American, half Macedonian. My mom is from southeast Europe and dad is from America.

Claudio: Ah, you have a heritage too. My origin is of Uruguay but I'm born here in Canada.

Dario: That's cool dude.

Maple: Yeah, so where were we heading to hunt?

Dario: Rouge National Urban Park.

Claudio: Here in Toronto, it's not that far off from town.

Dario: Well let's go fellas!

They continued their drive.

The scene changed to a group of people as they were running around the forest as police sirens were heard from afar.
