Vlad quickly lowered the blade and a loud chop was heard making everyone gasp.
Dario who was expecting a beheading had his eyes closed, but he heard grunting. Upon opening his eyes he saw Renfield who managed to stop Vlad's Cataclysm from chopping off the hunter's head.
Vlad: Renfield! What are you doing?! Get out of the way!
The chamois sported an angry look, he then breathed out mist from his mouth and blinded Vlad temporarily.
Vlad: Argh! *rubs one eyes*
Renfield then fully took control of Cataclysm and used it against his master, he slashed the black wolf on the neck as tar spewed and covered him.
Jäger: Huh?!? *shocked*
Armand: Oh hell yes!
Everyone cheered on as Vlad dropped to his knees as he faced the chamois with a large wound present on the neck.
Vlad: How....?
???: Ahem~!
The wolf turned around and saw the roe deer trophy wave the cross that Dario wielded but it was crushed and drained.
Vlad: You......
Faust: That, was payback for the antlers.
Renfield then slashed the roots to free Dario and then freed Diamante and Dark Thunder.
Vlad: I won't let you!
He tried to use his powers but his hand sparked and backfired on him, then the forcefield that he had casted around Dario's loved ones disappeared ultimately freeing them.
Banny: Yes!
Dario: Guys!
He ran to them and was confronted with hugs and positive reception.
Morozko: I can't believe this is happening! Do something!
Vlad tried to use his powers again but couldn't.
Faust: It's no use, the cross's divinity disables you from using your powers.
Archduke: How did you do it?!
Faust: A monsiuer never kisses and tells. But what I'll say is that me and Renny here don't like your rule amongst others.
Jäger: You'll pay dearly for this treachery!
Hurricane: Take that you freaks!
Vlad's right eye twitched before growling demonically before howling which cut off the victory celebrations.
Vlad: I may be powerless, but my control is still in tact!
His eyes glowed red as the infected animals listened to Vlad's command and started encircling everyone.
Jäger then pushed Renfield away after he snatched Cataclysm before tossing it to Vlad again.
Vlad: The coup failed. Now Faust and Renfield will join you in your demise!
