African Arc Chapter 127: Pleasure or Pain?

After the trial and Reza's disappearance, Shenri decided to throw a party to celebrate him being seemingly dead.

She and her clan invited Hammam and his herd, and unsurprisingly Dario, Katherine and Ruch to join in the festivities.

Zeran and Lameia would've joined but the two were too tired so they went to sleep.

We see traditional Arabic music playing the background, some striped hyenas who were trying their best to play the instruments despite the lack of knowledge.

Red deer and hyenas were celebrating this "victory" if you call it.

Katherine: For a party I was expecting like some dubstep or anything to fit the merit of a party.

Ruch: Yeah that's the city life, over here it's traditional.

Dario: This is traditional Arabic music that they're playing, it extends from northern Africa to the Middle East.

Katherine: Huh, you learn something every day then. 

Ruch: What kind of music do they play in Macedonia?

Dario: Oh, stuff like the cult classic Makedonsko Devojče, or our own dance Pejduškata which is used for weddings and celebrations.

Hammam came by.

Hammam: Huh that's interesting, human.

Katherine: He has a name. So use it...*glare*

Hammam: Oh sorry what was your name again?

Dario: Dario.

Hammam: Ah Dario, my mistake. Humble apologies good fellow, I would like to thank you for supporting me in my little feud with Reza.

Dario: Ah it's no problem.

Ruch: You rocking the gladiator outfit there.

Hammam: I like it. It suits me well.

Katherine: *giggle* Keep telling yourself that~

Then Shenri walked by.

Shenri: Make way for the matriarch bitches!  *laughed*

Ruch: Hey sis.

Shenri: So how are my little rascals doing? Enjoying the party?

Dario: Well it's something alright.

Shenri: Definitely, getting rid of Reza was fun. Tho I just wished it involved a bit of dismemberment....~

Katherine was in disbelief, Dario cocked a brow, Hammam stood frozen whilst holding his drink and Ruch just chuckled.

Ruch: Classic Shen, never gave up that drive for violence now did ya?

Shenri: Never did, it's no wonder I'm matriarch of these bozos around here. I'm always prepared for anything~.

Dario: Well in order to be leader you gotta make some step up to the plate in most case scenarios.

Shenri: I like the way you think.

Katherine: Don't we all? He can be the violent type at times.

Dario: Kat...

Shenri now had interest in what Katherine had said.

Shenri: Nah nah, go on, talk.

Katherine: He beat up my ex one night.

Shenri: Oh~.

Katherine: The other day he bit off an emu trophy's ear off before feeding him to a croc.

Shenri: Oh my~.
