Sally is the second engine owned by the Slate Company and was bought from London Transport in 1963. She was brought on because Neil was getting older, and the trains were getting heavier. At first she abhorred pulling the slate trains. But after some stern words from their manager, and a nasty accident in 1964, she eventually came around to the idea. She's now a hard worker and pulls her trains without fuss. She sometimes pulls the enthusiasts trains down the line as well. There's really not much to say about her.
