Shane Dooiney is the last of the original five engines. Unlike the other four, Shane handles most of the goods traffic on the line. This is why we usually don't see much of him. He is usually up on the summit delivering supplies to the station and the Summit Hotel. He is named after another mountain, similar to Culdee. Because of this he can sometimes feel like he is second best compared to the CFR's namesake engine. Despite this, he still gets his work done in a timely fashion. He was sent to the works when engines No. 7 and 8 came to the railway.
