Dennis was an experimental diesel designed by Oliver Bulleid. He managed goods services on a branch line that was approaching closure. He was then withdrawn in 1959 and sat in a sighting near Ashford Works. Instead of being cut up like in real life, Dennis was bought by Sir Charles to pilot at Vicarstown. This plan had fallen through however, and Dennis was forgotten at the back of Crovan's Gate Works. He stayed there for years, until 1996 when Sir Stephen decided to restore Dennis and send him to work at Vicarstown. Since Dennis had been sitting stationary for a long time, he became incredibly lazy. It would take him forever to find and arrange trains. This caused its fair share of problems. It took a while, but Dennis eventually became a hardworking engine. He didn't get into any accidents in his career so far.
