Pip and Emma are two high speed diesels that run the fast express service from Tidmouth to London. They were actually bought by the NWR in 1975. They became the NWR's unofficial D4 and D5. They weren't given NWR lettering and numbers until 2011. Unlike the other diesels, they kept their InterCity paint scheme. They eventually took over the Wild'Nor'Wester from Gordon that year as well. They currently run the service from Tidmouth to London every day. There is not too much to say about these two. Pip had a faulty cooling system when she first arrived, but that was soon sorted out. Emma didn't have too many breakdowns, unlike her sister. They really don't have any other incidents on their record.
