Patrick is one of the newer engines on the CFR. He, along with two other engines, is an updated version of the original engines. Patrick used to be named Lord Harry, after the railway's chairman Lord Harry Barrane. This prestigious title made him reckless. He constantly took risks when travelling up and down the line. The coaches didn't like him because of this. He continued to be reckless until he derailed on the points outside of Summit station. After this, his name was taken away, and he was assigned Shane's job. He did this until he went up to the summit in a gale to rescue a climber. After that he was renamed to Patrick after the man he rescued. Patrick was a changed engine now and is more responsible when going up the mountain.
