Allias started life on BR in 1964. He pulled goods trains until 1986, when he was sold to the Ironworks. He was tasked with pulling trains of freshly smelted metal to Barrow. He also used to pull trains full of iron ore that was brought from one of the mines by a little narrow-gauge engine until 2001. He is an incredibly friendly engine who is a friend to all. He gets along well with the electric engines and Edward. He is also usually the one to stop Diego from bullying the twins. He is painted brown like the twins, but without yellow and black hazard stripes. Like most Class 47s, his front and cab are a solid yellow.
