Chapter 107: You're an Ass!

Kai didn't want to disturb Minda's rest so he waited until they were far enough away from the hut before talking or rather fighting with Mao.

Swing*

Without warning Kai swung his fist directly at Mao's face. He knew it was cowardly to attack without warning but he was furious at his friend and could no longer hold back. Mao however noticed his movements and had already stepped back to avoid his punch.

"What the f*ck was that!" Kai shouted. Both fists still clenched tight and ready to strike.

"I told you I wasn't going to ingratiate myself to him." Mao said.

"Who asked you to ingratiate yourself? All I wanted was for you to be friendly but instead you treated like a pest."

"I did not."

"You did."

"Did not!"

"Yes, you did. You treated him like shit." Kai asserted. Before throwing another punch towards Mao's expressionless face. Mao once again stepped back to avoid the punch.

"You blind fool. Don't think that just because you treat him like some god that everyone else has to treat him the same way." Mao stated.

"I never asked you to treat him like a god. But you could have at least spoken to him. Do you realize how hurt he was because of you?"

"I did speak to him."

"Saying one or two words isn't speaking to someone!"

"I won't apologize for not blabbing for hours like some gossiping old woman."

"F*ck you!" Kai said furious at his friend's unwillingness to have a conversation with Minda. His fist once again headed towards Mao's face. Mao naturally moved to dodge but Kai didn't relent and chased after him. He was determined to punch him in the face at least one.

"What's going on?"

"Captain Mao and the General's esteemed guest are fighting."

"Seriously?!"

"I heard our Captain insulted the man's wife and now he's trying to get revenge."

"No way. Captain Mao is always a gentleman. There's no way he'd do something to anger the General's guests."

"It's hard to believe but the guys who were here earlier swear he was shouting at our Captain and demanding that he apologize to his wife."

"That's bad. Shouldn't someone go tell the General? I mean we were told to treat his guests with the utmost respect."

The two soldiers considered going to find the General but neither could take their eyes off the fight. Mao and Kai were now rolling around in the dirt brawling like rogue barbarians while surrounded by soldiers.

"What the f*cks your problem!" Kai shouted as he pinned Mao beneath him.

"You're the one with a f*cking problem!" Mao shouted back as he punched Kai in the ribs and rolled out from under him. The two were in horrible shape but neither was willing to back down.

Bam* Bang*

Suddenly without warning both men were torn apart from one another and thrown a meter away.

"What the hell is going on!?!" General Lei shouted as he stood between the two of them.

"General!" Both Kai and Mao simultaneously said. There eyes wide in shock.
