Kai's self control proved successful and Minda's condition didn't seem to worsen. In fact he seemed to be in a great mood and wanted to help Kai sort through their luggage.

"Honey, are all of these medicinal herbs necessary?" Minda wondered as he looked at the heap of medication and prescription packages.

"Yes." Kai stated.

"I get having to bring my regular prescriptions but aren't some of these for allergies, fever, disinfectants, anti-nausea... Sigh* It feels like we're pharmacists if we bring all of these."

Minda knew Kai had purchased and hoarded the large variety of medication for his sake. He was touched but also uncomfortable when faced with how delicate his body truly was.

"It looks like a lot because of the packaging and redundant herbs. I'm planning to discuss a way to store and pack the medication so that it will take up less space as well as remove the redundancies." Kai said knowing how Minda felt.

Sigh*

Minda poked the several packages still feeling down. Wanting to distract him Kai pulled over another large crate full of things for them to sort through. This particular box was full of Minda's seasoning and food.

"I'd like to bring as much of this as possible but do we have the room?" Minda asked. His mood visibly improving as he sniffed the different herbs and spices.

"It's food so naturally it is important to bring with us." Kai said.

"If we can't reduce the amount of medication or food... Honey, what do we get rid of?" Minda asked.

"Clothes, stationary, books, there are many things we'll need to give up." Kai said.

"Clothes... I guess I can live without my night robes but I need a few changes of clothes. Wearing the same thing for several days without washing makes my skin itch." Minda said.

"Two." Kai responded while holding up his fingers.

"Does that include my coats, and the different layers?"

"It will be cold and you'll need to wear several layers. If we bring along more underwear you'll be able to change it and won't feel as itchy even if your outer layers aren't changed." Kai suggested.

"I guess that could work. What about my coats and cloaks?"

"We'll bring your warmest fur lined coat, the water resistant leather cloak, as well as your thicker winter robes." Kai said as he pulled them out of the chest and set them aside on the bed. Minda looked at it and couldn't help but think his winter clothing was very thick and would be heavy.

"What about your clothes?"

"I'll also bring a couple warm layers." Kai said. He placed his own clothing on the bed next to Minda's. When comparing the two it was obvious Minda's clothes were twice as thick. Aside from the thickness Minda couldn't help his eyes from wandering to a specific robe that was left in the crate.

"Why didn't he pick the green one?" Minda wondered. Minda and Kai had similar matching green robes. Minda was still a little embarrassed so they never wore them at the same time but just knowing they had matching outfits made Minda smile. Now seeing the matching green outfits would be left behind he couldn't help but frown.

"What's wrong?" Kai asked clearly noticing his discontent.

"The green." Minda said as he switched one of the outfits for the green one. At the same time he also placed his matching green outfit on his pile of clothes. Kai almost immediately realized why Minda wanted to bring the green robes but he couldn't agree.
