two years later 
Winter has come to Japan, but it's still considered warm, but cold for instead of snow it was a cold shower of rain pouring over the city
Nejire: "Phew" she managed to get another day of work done Hero work takes it's toll on her, but she doesn't mind as long as it keeps her occupied from...well thinking about him
Eri: "Mommy?" Seeing her daughter there growing up as she tried to get a math problem figured out 
Nejire: "and what's my little snowball doing hm?" 
Eri: "I don't understand this question...what is division?" 
Nejire: "hm well it's when you split numbers by the variable that is available!" 
Eri: "so...Subtraction with extra steps?" 
Nejire: "kinda" 
Eri: "okay..." she continues to try and finish it as Nejire tries to figure out what to do for dinner she continues to hum out a song stuck in her head 
Eri: "ring-ring-ring-ring-ring-ring-ring Banana phone~" whether she made that up or she heard it from somewhere Nejire found it adorable hearing her sing 
Nejire: "*sigh*" seeing Eri  finishing up her homework she puts it in her bag 
Eri: "Mom?" 
Nejire: "Yeah?" snapping her out of her focus 
Eri: "c-could I watch TV?" 
Nejire: "Of course...go ahead" she bounced in excitement and runs off.  then she hears her phone go off and she was a little concerned
Mirio: "Hey don't let Eri see the news" seeing a text from him 
Nejire: "ok" without hesitation she didn't bother to ask yet so she goes to the living room of the house to see Eri about to grab the remote 
Nejire: "Uh Eri?" 
Eri: "hm?" 
Nejire: "Could you promise me something?" 
Eri: "what's happening?" 
Nejire: "Nothing...I just want you to promise me something ok?" 
Eri: "um...ok" 
Nejire: "Don't watch the news channel alright?" 
Eri: "How come?" 
Nejire: "trust me on this...I'll tell you later alright?" 
Eri: "o..okay" 
Nejire: "Thank you snowball" hugging her 
Eri: "Um..I had  strange feeling today" 
Nejire: "what do you mean?" 
Eri: "I don't know...but...it felt...sad?" she would always have this sort of sixth sense for things that happen around her...either it's a result of her quirk or by other means...like how she knew Izumi Yagi wasn't a good person to her when she initially met her back when she was a prisoner to the Yakuza 
Nejire: "Don't worry erbear I'll make sure nothing will happen" 
Eri: "Okay mommy" 
Nejire: "Now enjoy the TV and what did I say?" 
Eri: "No news" 
Nejire: "Good" she leaves her be for now and she heads to another room for a bit...seeing she got a call from Yuyu
Nejire: "Yu what's happening?" 
Yuyu: "Eri better not be on the news" 
Nejire: "She's not now please tell me" 
Tamaki: "is she on the phone?" 
Yuyu: "I'm gonna tell her!" yelling at him 
Tamaki: "Tell her to keep Eri inside at all times I'll be on the way!" 
Nejire: "Just tell me!" getting frustrated as they bounced around the topic as it would be a world changing thing...but...it technically is
Yuyu: "Tartarus Prison experienced a breakout today" 
Nejire: "Another one!?" now worried who may have broken out of the place...but she would have her answer 
Yuyu: "It's Izuku" she felt like her heart dropped...they were told he was alive somewhere, but of all places...Tartarus
Nejire: "where!" 
Yuyu: "It's too dangerous" 
Nejire: "why how!?" trying to get answers from her 
Yuyu: "I don't know the whole details but he's on the loose so please keep Eri safe...we don't know if he'll act out again" 
Nejire: "Yu please...if this is going to be resolved peacefully I need to be there!" 
Yuyu: "...*sigh*...he was last seen heading towards Mustafa park...U.A already has locked it down" 
Nejire: "Alright...thank you Yu" 
Yuyu: "Be careful girl" 
Nejire: "I will" she opens it back up to see Eri on the couch laying upside down seeing her hair drooping over on the floor 
Nejire: "Um...Eri..." 
eri: "hm?" 
Nejire: "I have to go do something important...and I need you to be brave for me" 
Eri: "Is it about papa?" she was surprised she couldn't hide her shock from this 
Nejire: "How..." 
Eri: "Only papa makes you this...nervous" she a little shy to say it  as if she'll get in trouble for even mentioning him again 
Nejire: "I see...you know your really smart right?" 
Eri: "that's what he said to me" 
Nejire: "yes Eri...I'm...I'm going to see Papa" 
Eri: "C...can I come?" she looks at her with those pleading eyes 
Nejire: "I wish I could eri...but it's been so long since we saw him...and...he's reported to have gotten worse...If I took you with me and what we find was a shell of the man we used to adore and love...and would want to hurt you I would never forgive myself for that...so please...let me see what this is first...and if he's still caring and kind...I'm sure he'll want to see you again" she looks down for a moment..as silence fills up the room she nods understanding her reasoning for this...her father was going mad and slowly lost his mind...seeing him brutally kill his sister was the proof for that along with the other heinous things he did.
Eri: "Okay mama" 
Nejire: "thank you Eri...Uncle Tamaki is going to be here and he'll watch you..alright?" 
Eri: "Okay...u-um" 
Nejire: "Yes?" 
Eri: "c...if...if he remembers me...tell him...I love him" she couldn't help but cry at her request
Nejire: "I will Eri...I will" she stands up to get her outfit ready...she had more armor put on it...since her battle with Izuku made it clear she wasn't protected well enough for she has little hope that this will be resolved peacefully. 
Nejire: "I hope I'm wrong" hearing the door knock she opens it to Tamaki 
Tamaki: "Hey Nejire" 
Nejire: "Hey" 
Tamaki: "where is she?" 
Eri: "hi Uncle Squid" chuckling at his nickname for him 
Tamaki: "hey snowball." 
Nejire: "Do you know anything else?" 
Tamaki: "He passed U.A completely" 
Nejire: "what?" she thought U.A would be a prime target to attack...with his quirks he could level the area completely since Aizawa retired 
Tamaki: "I don't know his motive Nej just please be cautious alright?" 
Nejire: "I will" 
Eri: "Be safe...mama" waving to her she smiles back and waves before flying off into the night
