Oliver Queen stared at the mirror of his bedroom at the Queen Mansion, taking a deep breath and thinking about how he felt grateful and lucky. Since he had come back after being away for 5 years and became the vigilante of Star City known as the Green Arrow, it was really rare for him to feel like this because he was always keeping secrets and lying to protect his loved ones, he was always losing someone or needing to do something extreme to save the city. It was always like darkness filled his entire life.

That was until he met her.

He remembered Barry showing up in the middle of a mission to ask for Team Arrow's help because aliens were invading the world. That was the moment he knew his life would never be the same. Barry got everyone they knew that were super heroes and available, and brought a beautiful blonde from another universe to meet them. He remembered he wasn't expecting her to be an actual alien and it took him a lot to process because he didn't know if he could trust her, and God knew how many people had betrayed his trust. Thanks to that, he acted like a real jerk.

He regretted it every day since then.

Truth be told, he actually had no idea how to deal with her at first, she swept him off his feet for sure, and before he could do anything to stop it, he was smitten, something Barry had noticed and made sure to tease him about it every single time they teamed up after that.

He remembered how he made sure to apologize and recognize his mistake after the fight with the Dominators, something he wasn't used to do a lot, but the smile he got from her, her contagious laugh, made everything worth it.

He glanced at the clock and felt multiple goosebumps; it was almost time to go to the church and he felt really nervous, thinking about how he would spend the rest of his life loving her. He smiled, remembering the day when it all started, the first step of the long journey they had until their wedding day.

FLASHBACK

Oliver walked from one side to the other at Police station, while Dinah, Diggle, Renee, Curtis and Felicity tried their best to argue about the absurd he told them. Sara joined them later that day, after visiting her father and looked furious at Oliver. The woman from the FBI just stared at all of that, with her arms crossed and a satisfied look on her face.

- How could you do that, Oliver? You could have called us; we could've figured something out.

- There was nothing to figure out, we're arresting Mr. Queen, he is a criminal and will face the consequences for that!

- There was nothing to figure out, Sara. I managed to make a deal with the FBI, they know I'm the Green Arrow; I had to confess it so they could help me stop Diaz...

- You could have called us, or The Flash, or even Kara... I don't know, anyone that could help you stop him without surrendering to the FBI!

- And what do you think you could do? There's no way we would allow it! – The woman stared at Sara – If you try to do anything, I'll arrest you too!

- Sara, please... – Dinah said

- The Flash has a lot on his plate right now... Kara... I don't know how things are there, and she must have a lot to deal with too... You guys were traveling through time... – Oliver said, making the agent stare at him as if he was a crazy person – It's all out in the open now, she knows almost everything, so...
